The Russian hackers were not influential on social media

Washington Post:
A report found that the hackers sought to publicize the documents as early as June 2016 through a Facebook post but it generated just 11 “likes,” 17 shares and zero comments.
Facebook was not an effective tool of the Russians from the hackers to the ads placed there after the election.  The Russian influence was exaggerated by the media and the Democrats for partisan purposes.

The WikiLeaks publication of the DNC emails also was not effective in shaping the election although it did get more coverage.  All it really showed is that the DNC rigged its own primary for Clinton who was already the nominee at that point.  There is no evidence that the revelation changed a single vote. I think the Bernie Sanders's vote was showing there was already a backlash against Hillary Clinton long before the Wikileaks posting of the emails.  There were a lot of Democrats who did not like her early on.
