Biden blaming others for his screw-ups

Rick Moran: Joe Biden’s economic worldview is proving to be a grand illusion. Spending trillions of dollars to “stimulate” the economy has done nothing except stimulate inflation. And at least part of the reason for America’s supply chain bottlenecks is due to the administration’s green policies and overregulation of ports. But Biden’s presidency depends on finding scapegoats to blame for the nation’s economic woes. So he has directed the Federal Trade Commission to “investigate” why prices at the gas pump are so high and also why the supply chain is such a mess? It’s desperation time for the White House, and using the FTC to find something that the president can use to blame others for his problems is about all Joe Biden has left. Now, Biden has ordered the FTC to investigate the “profit margins” of major retailers. He wants people to believe that retailers are taking advantage of inflation to raise prices unnecessarily. “Excess profits” for the oil companies are also under FTC revi

Garland accused of misleading Congress

Fox News: Seven Republicans are asking Attorney General Merrick Garland to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, stating that previous testimony appeared to be "deeply misleading" in describing the department's attempts to counter purported school board intimidation. "The FBI should be going after mobsters, not soccer moms. Attorney General Garland has told one story but the actions of some in the Department of Justice tell another," said Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., in an exclusive statement to Fox News. "He needs to return to the Judiciary Committee and give clear answers to the American people." In a letter Monday, Sasse and others requested Garland clarify his remarks and suggested they conflicted with information from an FBI whistleblower and U.S. attorney's office. ... "We remain deeply concerned that your October 4 Memorandum is being used by the DOJ and the FBI as a basis to pursue investigations against American parents for Fi

Nebraska Governor exposes racist nature of CRT

Pete Rickets: Chancellor Ronnie Green believes the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) is racist. Under his leadership, UNL recently released a plan to address “institutional racism” as part of its “Journey for Anti-Racism and Racial Equity.” From racially motivated hiring practices to divisive trainings, the plan would inject Critical Race Theory (CRT) into every corner of campus. At the foundation of UNL’s plan are the writings of Ibram Kendi, who has openly called for discrimination on the basis of skin color. Kendi has written that “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination.” This plan is the product of ideologues—not thoughtful Nebraska academics. Needless to say, I could not be more disappointed in the Chancellor’s plan, and I completely disagree with the notion that UNL is a racist institution. UNL’s focus should be on educational excellence, not ideological indoctrination. At

Corruption is the Biden family business

Dailywire: Long before Hunter Biden ever considered joining a Ukrainian energy company named Burisma, Joe Biden and his family used his power and position to leverage business deals with businesses seeking his influence, according to a new book. Joe Biden personally benefited from his political influence in a series of fortuitous real estate landfalls, even as virtually every member of the Biden family claimed its own piece of the pie, writes New York Post columnist Miranda Devine in her new book, Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide . “While Joe Biden waged war on white privilege from the White House, his own family was the living embodiment of the worst of it,” writes Devine. “Joe has always made sure the Bidens lived a life of unearned privilege and entitlement under his beneficent patronage,” she continues in the book, which hits store shelves on Tuesday. “Like members of a hereditary aristocracy, the Bidens would have acces

Biden administration out of touch with rural America

Breitbart: Pete Buttigieg: Rural Drivers Should Buy Electric Cars Because They Use the Most Gas Rural drivers are some of the hardest hit by the Biden administration's deliberate driving up the4 cost of gas, but electric vehicles are not the answer at this time.  Rural drives rely heavily on pickup trucks and not compact electric cars.   There are few electric trucks on the market and they have limited range compared with say a gas or diesel, F-150 Ford.  To the extent that they do exist their range shrinks quickly when they are used to tow trailers which is also a common necessity.  Farmer and ranchers also need fuel to operate equipment from tractors to hay bailers. To my knowledge, no farm and ranch implements operate on electricity. There is a good reason why rural voters supported Republicans in the recent Virginia election. BTW, Buttigieg's claim that the electric vehicle owners would never have to worry about gas prices again is grossly misleading.  The administration

The Russia hoax, the biggest misinformation story in history was not a subject

John Sexton: Ben Smith: Harvard academics are hosting zoom meetings with news executives about 'misinformation' They are instead focused on the Biden "laptop from hell" which exposes the family corruption that the media pretended was "misinformation"  and was "hacked."

China needs Aussie coal that it banned

The politicized FBI

NY Post: Roger Stone says FBI is acting like Biden’s ‘personal Gestapo’ Democrats appear to have weaponized the FBI against their political opponents since Trump was elected.  From the Russian collusion hoax to the ridiculous operation to arrest Stone as if he were some terrorist threat the FBI looks like the Gestapo wing of the Democrat party these days.

Biden not disclosing the number of illegal he let into US

Washington Free Beacon: The Biden administration has yet to publicly disclose critical information on the number of illegal immigrants in the United States, a violation of congressional guidance and a departure from federal transparency standards. The Department of Homeland Security has given Congress its report on the number of foreign nationals who remain in the United States on expired visas, but the information has not been subsequently released to the public, the Washington Free Beacon has learned. Stretching back to at least the Obama administration, DHS has made the annual report on suspected visa overstays available to the public shortly after giving it to Congress. Requests for comment to various agencies within DHS on the report went unanswered. Congress has mandated that the report is released online to the public, out of concern that "the large number of annual in-country alien overstays threatens national security and the integrity of legal immigration." The Bid

Biden has no solution to supply chain backlog

KTRH: One of the perks of owning the mainstream media, you can say whatever you want without any scrutiny or accountability. Something we have witnessed now for the last 10 months. There is a major supply chain crisis in our country, and it is not going away anytime soon. But if you listen to the White House, it's no big deal. Nothing to see here. It will all end soon. Not so says economist, consultant and writer, Milton Ezrati. "The supply chain issues will be around for quite awhile, I'm talking about the 2nd half of next year at the earliest." So what is the problem? The two biggest issues are, too much government spending, and the Biden administration shutting down oil and gas. "That's not a supply chain issue, that's policy" Ezrati told KTRH, "They know that there is a problem, they tried to dismiss it and hope that it would go away, it hasn't. The inflation is severe." ... This is why those "I did that stickers" of Bide

Media embraces Biden hypocrisy

Fox News: Media hit for 'sophomoric and ridiculous' take on Biden's travel ban after calling Trump's restrictions racist   Biden previously referred to Trump's temporary ban on African countries as a 'disgrace' The media and their Democrat cohorts made many false allegations of racism against Trump for doing common sense things and because Biden is their guy they don't even call him on his own hypocrisy.  See, also: WATCH: Psaki grilled over Biden's hypocrisy on 'xenophobic' travel bans   "Before Joe Biden's president, he said that COVID travel restrictions on foreign countries were hysterical xenophobia and fear monitoring. Biden's goofy response to OPEC

Washington Examiner: T he Biden administration  announced  on Tuesday it would act alongside five other major economies and release tens of millions of barrels of oil from national stockpiles in a bid to lower prices, as global oil cartel OPEC+ resists significantly boosting production in response to President Joe Biden's urging. The Department of Energy will oversee the release of up to 50 million barrels of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve's four storage sites along the Gulf Coast, which will be made available to private firms for refining or otherwise adding to their own crude reserves. ... This is a fool's errand and Biden is just the guy to push it.  He is releasing oil that the US was able to get at low prices during the Trump administration and will have to replace it with high-priced OPEC oil in the future unless he stops his ridiculous war on energy produced in the US. He is already doubling down on his bad energy policies by doubling the cost of dri

Biden's ridiculous Iran policy

Israel Hayom: Is the Biden administration hopelessly deluded about Iran?   Under the current global and regional circumstances, Israel has no choice but to convince the Biden administration, through words and deeds, that it is dead set on preventing the ayatollah regime from acquiring a nuclear weapon no matter the cost. Biden's attempt to revive the worst deal in the history of the world has never made any sense for the US or the other countries in the region.  There are not enough votes for a treaty in Congress so whatever he does will be unwound when Trump is reelected in 2024.  In the meantime, the new deal will likely lead to war in the region where no one trusts Iran with the nuclear weapons that would be inevitable under the deal. Jan. 6 committee will need a Supreme Court decision to see Trump papers

Epoch Times:   Trump Setting Stage for Supreme Court Battle Over Executive Privilege The committee is basically a bad faith operation like many before of Democrats and a handful of RINO's who want to block Trump's 2024 campaign.  Biden has been such a disaster for the Democrats that they need to change the subject if they can.

Pre Christmas panic time for Democrats

Washington Examiner: L awmakers returning from a weeklong recess lack the bipartisan agreement needed to keep the government funded past a  Dec. 3 deadline  and raise the nation’s borrowing limit by Dec. 15, when Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned her department would run out of money to repay loans. The two deadlines come ahead of a Christmas target Senate Democrats set for themselves to pass President Joe Biden’s $1.75 trillion social welfare and green energy spending bill unilaterally, even as a pair of centrist party lawmakers may not fully support the passage. ... It is what happens when you try to impose a radical agenda without a mandate and you have the slimmest of majorities. The Democrats keep pushing stuff for which there is no bipartisan support.  They have a problem.

Media censorship help get Biden elected

Miranda Devine: The president’s plummeting popularity , especially among independents, reflects a growing realization among voters that Joe Biden is not the man they thought they had voted for. There’s a good reason for their disenchantment. They were denied the normal due diligence the media is supposed to conduct on presidential candidates. It’s been more than a year since The Post published the first of a series of damning stories about then-candidate Biden, based on material on his son Hunter’s abandoned laptop . It’s been more than a year since Facebook and Twitter colluded with Democrat-friendly media to censor a story that reflected badly on their preferred candidate less than three weeks before the 2020 election. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey blithely admitted after the election that locking The Post’s account for two weeks on the basis of a non-existent “hacking” offense was a “mistake.” Facebook has never revealed the results of the “fact-check” it used as a pretext for blocking

Climate change 'junk science'

Norman Rogers: Climate change prophecy hangs its hat on computer climate models. The models have gigantic problems. According to  Kevin Trenberth , once in charge of modeling at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, “[None of the] models correspond even remotely to the current observed climate [of the Earth].” The models can’t properly model the Earth’s climate, but we are supposed to believe that, if carbon dioxide has a certain effect on the imaginary Earths of the many models it will have the same effect on the real earth. The climate models are an exemplary representation of confirmation bias, the psychological tendency to suspend one’s critical facilities in favor of welcoming what one expects or desires. Climate scientists can manipulate numerous adjustable parameters in the models that can be changed to tune a model to give a “good” result. Technically, a good result would be that the climate model output can match past climate history. But that good result competes wit

Judge halts Biden vaccine mandate for healthcare workers

National Review: A federal judge on Monday placed a temporary injunction on the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for health care workers at Medicare- and Medicaid-affiliated facilities. Judge Matthew Schelp of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri halted the mandate for ten states that participated in a lawsuit against the federal government, led by Missouri attorney general Eric Schmidt. Schelp was appointed by former President Trump in 2019. The decision will “ensure that federal agencies do not extend their power beyond the express delegation from Congress,” Schelp wrote in his ruling . “The public would benefit from the preliminary injunction because it would ensure that federal agencies do not extend their power beyond the express delegation from Congress, as already discussed.” The injunction applies to Missouri as well as Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, and Wyoming. ... How the vote fraud worked

Jay Valentine: Meet the Technology That's Uncovering 2020's Voter Fraud ... After the 2020 election results stopped in the middle of night and vote trajectories magically changed when they fired up again, thousands of people, just like you, didn't buy it. They formed armies of canvassers in 35 or more states. They did something that has not been done at scale in the history of the country: they started checking voter rolls. They did more. They filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests at unprecedented levels. Secretary of state offices, once a murky sinecure, had to answer real questions about what was going on. Here's what popped out. Leftists are different from you and me. Unlike us, they care that every vote is cast, and if you do not cast your vote, they will do it for you. And they did. At scale. In one midwestern state, voter rolls costing tens of thousands of dollars were bought by a billionaire leftist every month for over a year. Why would so

Conservative success in GOP states

Andrew Malcolm: While national media focus attention on Washington issues and political skirmishes, across the country, Republican governors and state legislatures are quietly building an enduring foundation of legislative districts, laws, state rules, and institutions that strongly favor the GOP in coming years and elections. This stunning matrix of Republican domination state-by-state reflects a growing voter preference for GOP policies at that level, dating back to 2010 and Barack Obama’s disastrous first midterm elections. Collectively, voters then handed down a devastatingly negative verdict on the first two years of the Obama-Biden administration and the rule of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. With only one recent exception (George W. Bush in 2002), first-midterm elections like the ones coming in just 49 weeks, usually turn out badly for a sitting president’s party. In 2010, Democrats lost six Senate and 63 House seats — worst drubbing in nearly six decades. That January, the GOP a

Biden's Iran deal push leads to Saudi resistance to increase oil production

Monica Showalter: ... Turns out that Joe's hankering for a nuclear deal with Iran is driving the Saudis to hold back on production.  The way it goes is this: The Saudis, who are known as the 'anchor producer' in the oil world, have cut back on production in order to raise or keep the price of oil higher. They need high prices because they know that prices are going to go down. How would they go down? If Joe Biden rams through his Iran deal with the mullahs and lifts sanctions on Iran. Iran's got a lot of oil it can sell in the world markets and all that new oil means the global price of oil goes down. More oil, cheaper prices.  The Saudis are actually banking on that happening, despite the fact that Iran's mullahs, as  this analysis  by Hamid Enayat the other day explains, are slow-walking the deal because they really, really like having a nuclear bomb which they see as key to maintaining their grip on power in Iran. Given a choice between killing off their mortal

CRT and identity politics invade the court rooms

John Solomon: Alan Dershowitz, the famed law scholar and appellate lawyer, has a stark warning for judges, prosecutors and defense lawyers: America's justice system is being corrupted by identity politics and critical race theory. In an interview with Just the News, Dershowitz deplored the growing trend in recent criminal cases toward political agendas supplanting the neutral consideration of evidence and law that has been the lifeblood of U.S. jurisprudence for more than two centuries. "It's becoming much more responsive, unfortunately, to critical race theory, basically, everything's about race," Dershowitz told the John Solomon Reports podcast in an interview aired this week. "Everything's about race or politics. "The justice system has stopped being about is this particular person innocent or guilty beyond a reasonable doubt based on the evidence and based on the law. People today are rooting, cheering for verdicts. They want verdicts to reflect

Minority privilege exposed?

NY Post: She’s Sitting Bulls-t. A Canadian medical researcher who rose to become the nation’s top voice on indigenous health has been ousted from her government job and her university professorship — after suspicious colleagues investigated her increasingly fanciful claims of Native American heritage and learned she was a fraud. Carrie Bourassa, a public health expert who served as scientific director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s Institute of Indigenous Peoples’ Health, was suspended on Nov. 1, five days after the state-owned Canadian Broadcasting Corporation published a lengthy expose on her background. Far from being a member of the Métis nation, as she had long claimed, a laborious trace of Bourassa’s family tree revealed that her supposedly indigenous ancestors were in fact immigrant farmers who hailed from Russia, Poland, and Czechoslovakia. “It makes you feel a bit sick,” said Janet Smylie, a Métis professor at the University of Toronto who worked with Boura

Woke crowd led California down the path to more crime

Washington Examiner: ... So when the  U.S. Supreme Court  ordered a California prison reduction of up to 46,000 inmates in 2011, the tide was turning toward liberals, and the time was ripe for Proposition 47. This was a ballot initiative that passed three years later, downgrading numerous nonviolent felonies to misdemeanors. Police and politicians say it was an ill-conceived law that tricked voters, as evidenced most recently by a  surge in looting  in the Bay Area. Because thefts aren't usually prosecuted, many retailers in liberal San Francisco have shut down. "The easiest way to reduce crime is to fix Proposition 47 and reimpose strong sentencing for the pervasive retail theft that is literally closing stores across our state,"  said Tracy McCray  , vice president of the San Francisco Police Officers Association. "Exacerbating the situation is San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin's insistence on dropping or downgrading charges of those caught red-han

Democrats weak bench exposed by Biden-Harris

Nick Arama: Joe Biden has just horrible poll numbers. As we noted, about ten days ago he hit his lowest approval number in the Quinnipiac poll at 36 percent. He was less popular than the least popular governor in the country — Oregon’s Kate Brown. That’s how unpopular he is at this point. But if the Democrats thought they could toss him to the side and bring on Kamala Harris, there’s a flaw in that plan. The only person with lower numbers than Joe at this point is Kamala, who was at an abysmal 28 percent approval at last check this month. So it’s not like Americans are going to embrace her either. Democrats are up a creek without a paddle, not knowing what to do. Biden has said that he intends to run again, but no one really places much stock in that. People aren’t even sure he’ll make it through the current term, given his clear issues. So now there’s been talk of Pete Buttigieg being a successor to Biden. According to Business Insider, the White House isn’t exactly squashing tha

Mandate free Florida leads US lowest per Capita Covid cases

Epoch Times: Florida is now tied for the lowest daily COVID-19 cases per capita in the United States. A Nov. 26 update shows the Sunshine State reported a daily average of 1,393 CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus cases as of Friday, or about six cases per 100,000 people. That represents a five percent decrease over the past two weeks, data from the state shows. Hawaii also had a daily average of 81 COVID-19 cases, or about six per 100,000 people, according to the data. Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, had 82 COVID-19 cases, representing about 2 cases per 100,000 people. Other southern states like Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana saw low COVID-19 case averages in recent days, the data shows. Michigan saw a daily average of 8,457 COVID-19 cases, or 85 cases per 100,000 people—the highest in the United States, according to the data. Those figures represent a 59 percent increase in cases over the past two weeks. ... What we are learning about the virus is that it does not transmi

Biden trying to revive worst deal in history of the world

The Lid: On Monday Biden Begins Talks To Reenter The Iran Nuke Deal Obama And Kerry Lied To America About   The Deal Puts the U.S., Israel, and Sunni Gulf States in Existential Danger ...   The liberal media won’t tell you, but Trump’s withdrawal from the deal brought peace. Without the withdrawal, there would never have been the Abraham Accords. Behind the scenes, the Arab counties working with Israel were the Sunni-led states such as the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan (and the Saudis). They were working with Israel (quietly) because they believed that  Shia Iran was an existential threat. By pulling out of the Iran nuke deal (the JCPOA) and pressuring Iran with increased sanctions, Trump proved to the Sunni countries who see Iran as an existential threat that, unlike Obama, he had their backs against Iran. The JCPOA was a capitulation to Iranian demands. Beyond that, parts of the JCPOA that Obama and Kerry bragged about the most were lies. The MSM covered up the lies back then and are still

Biden's myriad excuses for passing his spending spree

Michael Goodwin: In the beginning, Build Back Better wasn’t just the most expensive piece of legislation ever. The multitrillion-dollar price tag was a bargain because the bill would totally transform America, President Biden claimed. Whatever the problem, from jobs to climate change to child care, BBB was the solution. Then came inflation, with the White House hiding behind the fictions that rising costs were overstated and transitory. When the price of everyday consumer items jumped, a slimmed-down Build Back Better was drafted for a new assignment: Suddenly it was the cure for inflation, the president insisted. Comes now a new COVID variant that is shaking health officials and global markets. How long until the White House claims BBB is key to surviving a new round of social and economic disruptions? The ever-shifting rationale and price tag behind Biden’s signature legislation is an apt metaphor for the confusing incoherence of his presidency. As Winston Churchill said in a dif

The evidence free 'white supremist' slur

Glenn Greenwald: Within hours of the August 25, 2020, shootings in Kenosha, Wisconsin — not days, but hours — it was decreed as unquestioned fact in mainstream political and media circles that the shooter, Kyle Rittenhouse, was a "white supremacist.” Over the next fifteen months, up to and including his acquittal by a jury of his peers on all charges, this label was applied to him more times than one can count by corporate media outlets as though it were proven fact. Indeed, that Rittenhouse was a "white supremacist” was deemed so unquestionably true that questioning it was cast as evidence of one's own racist inclinations ( defending a white supremacist ). Yet all along, there was never any substantial evidence, let alone convincing proof, that it was true. This fact is, or at least should be, an extraordinary, even scandalous, event: a 17-year-old was widely vilified as being a white supremacist by a union of national media and major politicians despite there being n

And then Darrell Brooks, a black racist, career criminal, and convicted sex offender with two open felony cases, intentionally drove into the Waukesha Christmas Parade, leaving bloody children strewn like crumpled flowers. Baby strollers and battered wheelchairs lay on the street in the aftermath of this racist rampage, while the media tries to cover up his black racist agendas. Biden's war on American energy

Newsmax: President Joe Biden's call to release 50 million barrels of crude oil from the nation's strategic reserves may be, on balance, a good idea, but it doesn't solve anything or change the fact that he's "declared war on American energy," Stephen Moore, a former senior economic adviser under President Donald Trump, said on Newsmax Wednesday. "He does not want to produce oil and gas and coal in this country," Moore said on Newsmax's "American Agenda." "That's where we get 80% of our energy and so he is wrong when he says that his policies have not contributed to higher gas prices." Moore, who called Biden's plan a "band-aid," further pointed out that the United States' oil production is down 2 million barrels a day from where it should be and from where it was at its peak when Trump was in office. "We killed the Keystone XL pipeline," said Moore. "There are two major pipelines in the

And in a 2020 presidential campaign ad, then-vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris lectured America on “the difference between equality and equity.” Equity, Harris argued, cannot coexist with equality, freedom, and justice, since those principles dear to America stand in the way of societal leveling. ... This is the opposite of President John Kennedy's goal of hiring the "best and the brightest."  This is really about racial preference as an excuse to hire minorities of dubious qualifications.  You can already see it in the lightweights brought before Congress for testimony or approval.  Democrats are pushing this racist garbage in education and other areas t

The race for artificial intelligence

Epoch Times: ... In the 21st-century information technology revolution, whoever reaches a breakthrough in developing AI will come to dominate the world. “Artificial intelligence is a resource of colossal power,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said at AI Journey 2019 conference, a major Eastern European forum on AI held in Moscow on Nov. 9, 2019. “Those who will own it will take the lead and will acquire a huge competitive edge.” Putin expressed his concern about Russia’s role in the artificial intelligence race in the forum—its two competitors, the United States and China , are far ahead of other countries in the AI race. “We must, and I am confident that we can become one of the global leaders in AI. This is a matter of our future, of Russia’s place in the world,” Putin added. Though the United States is still the world leader in terms of AI, China is quickly moving to take its place.
