Fani's fanny in a bind in Georgia

Headline USA: As  Fulton County  District Attorney  Fani Willis  comes under fire for her alleged affair with a subordinate official, Fulton County Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade, the DA leading the left’s charge against former President  Donald Trump  has found her spiritual side,  Politico   reported . The day before the national holiday honoring a fellow  Atlanta -based  adulterer  and  Marxist  activist,  Martin Luther King Jr. , Willis announced at the Big Bethel AME Church that she had recently  conversed with Christ . According to Willis, last week amid the growing scandal involving her and Ward, which threatens to derail her  lawfare  campaign against Trump and his allies, she “penned a letter to my heavenly Father” in response to the  adultery  allegations. And while Willis recognized that she is not perfect, she also suggested that anybody who criticizes her is likely a  r...

A systemic racism scam

Big League Politics: An affirmative action academic whose research on systemic racism was widely used to fuel animus against white people has been fired from Florida State University for falsifying data. Eric Stewart was fired as a criminology professor at Florida State University last month because of the “extreme negligence” found in his studies. His work had been cited by other research in an astounding 8,500 occasions, according to Google Scholar. Stewart also served as a WEB DuBois fellow at the National Institute of Justice before being disgraced. Stewart was excoriated by FSU Provost James J. Clark in a termination letter dated July 13 for the damage his shoddy and irresponsible work has caused to the university and the field in general. “The details of problematic data management, false results, and the numerous publication retractions have negatively affected the discipline on a national level,” Clark stated. “The damage to the standing of the University and, in particu...

Bogus claims of racism

Ann Coulter: The vote to expel two Democrats from the Tennessee House of Representatives last week reminds us of one of the immutable laws of politics: Whenever Democrats accuse anyone of racism, demand to see the videotape . Hey -- remember the 2016 racist bus attack on three black coeds at the University at Albany that caught Hillary Clinton's attention? They claimed a group of white men shouting racial epithets started hitting them, but no one on the bus cared! Foolishly, in retrospect, they didn't check to see if the bus had cameras. It did. Rallies, hysteria, a Hillary tweet ... and then it turned out they were the ones beating up a white girl. Or how about the Princeton professor who claimed she'd been the victim of a vicious racist policeman in 2016? "Many women who look like me," she wrote on Twitter, "have a much more frightening end to such arrests." After a hue and cry, the police released the officer's dashcam footage. The officer ha...

Whoops!

Daily Mail: Woke Arizona education leaders are blasted after they mistook African-American DJ at school fundraiser for white man in BLACKFACE and wrote scathing complaints Some people are determined to find offense regardless of the facts.

More evidence that 'white privilege' is overrated

Monica Showalter: Fake Indians: All of a sudden, American Indian population has surged 86.5%, Census shows Sen. Liz Warren, an early adopter on the fake Indian front, suddenly has a lot of company. ... It is more evidence of minority preferences in much of America.

Destroying the left's 'white supremacy' BS

Mike Miller: Glenn Loury is an American economist, academic, and author. In 1982, at the age of 33, he became the first African American tenured professor of economics in the history of Harvard University. In a short promo clip for his  show,  Mr. Loury destroyed the illogic of systemic racism in America — all by brilliantly asking simple, logical questions. All Columbia University linguist John McWhorter could offer in response was resting his face on his hand and grudgingly nodding in seeming agreement. If “structural racism” is so bad in America, why do nonwhites from all over the planet risk so much to come here? Conversely, if nonwhite immigrants succeed so admirably here, what’s keeping native-born blacks from doing the same? See what I mean? “It’s said to be a microaggression to observe,” Loury said, “but this is the place that people want to actually come.” Facts are stubborn, troublesome things on the left, America. If the American dream is a fraud then how come...

The disparate impact delusions

Liberals blunder into a new form of discrimination that hurts those they claim they want to help.

Black and brown people desperate to get into the US

Dennis Prager: If America Is Racist, Why Have Millions of Blacks Emigrated Here? Did Jews Emigrate to Germany in the 1930s? Immigrants from Nigeria have higher earnings than the average white Americans.  ... But with regard to their believing America is systemically racist and so persecutes blacks — LeBron James tweets that, like all blacks, “We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes!” and Oprah Winfrey likens present-day America to “the days of Jim Crow when black men would be lynched and dragged through the town as an example for other people to see” — their not making any attempt to dissuade blacks from coming to America makes no sense. It only makes sense if they don’t believe what they say about America. ... Millionaires who feel sorry for themselves are not sympathetic figures.

The America is racist fraud of the left

Quin Hillyer: Why does Biden let the UN ambassador tell the world the US is racist? She may be delusional enough to believe this lie. It is one that Democrats have been routinely spreading in recent years. They do it to keep black voters from abandoning their failed policies.  Democrats were truly frightened in 2020 when many blacks and Hispanics supported Trump.  Their lies are a slander against most of the people in this country and they have become costly likely the fall out from their lies about voter integrity laws.  The companies and institutions that have bought into these lies will pay a price for them.

Wackos in Massachusetts

Washington Examiner: Removal of Emancipation Memorial is ignorant and self-defeating The statue is a memorial to the freeing of the slaves.  At the time it was dedicated it widely praised by all blacks.

Democrats destroyed the black family and the black economy

Andrea Widberg: For decades, black voters have been wed to the Democrat party.  They are its most fervent supporters.  They're the ones who, quite understandably, voted for Obama in 2008, but irrationally voted for him again in 2012, after he'd trashed their economic standing with a stagnate economy and a decided preference for illegal aliens who competed with blacks for jobs.  As a New York Times opinion piece shows, what's most ironic about this obsessive fealty is that the Democrat party has been nothing but bad for blacks. Conservatives have known for a long time that the Democrat party doesn't exist to help blacks, to elevate them, to enrich them, to uplift them, or to do any other positive thing for them. Instead, the Democrat party views blacks as votes. It's efforts for decades have been to do one thing: To make blacks so dependent on government that they are incapable of voting for any party other than the one that shovels governmen...

Race and equality

Glenn Loury in an interview with City Journal: ... ... I happen to be suspicious about the assertion of authority based upon personal identity, such as being black. Let’s take this example. Were the actions we’ve all seen of the police officer in Minneapolis, Derek Chauvin, expressions of racial hatred? I happen to think that we have no reason to suppose that about him, absent further evidence. There are plenty of alternative explanations for his actions that could be given, from negligence to him just being a mean son of a bitch. Sure, we could project a motive onto him, onto the expression on his face, onto his smirk; we could feed thoughts into his head that make him symbolically emblematic of a certain trauma or sickness in American society, and this all may or may not be true. It might be true. But it might not be. You may or may not have an opinion about that, but suppose the question were to arise in the dorm room late at night. Suppose you have the view that you’re not sur...

Reparations nonsense

Kurt Schlichter: So, Senator Willy Brown Side Piece and Senator Panders With Wolves have decided to so something even Felonia Milhous von Pantsuit never dared – they’ve come out in favor of reparations. “Reparations” is, of course, the notion that a bunch of people who are not guilty of slavery owe money to people who were not slaves for some reason that never quite gets explained but that you’re racist for wondering about. This horrific idea is, not shockingly, really unpopular with the majority of people who did not do anything wrong but are expected to cut a check. It is, however, really popular with the leftist activists driving the out-of-control clown car that is today’s Democrat Party. ... You would think I’d need to pay full reparations freight, but hold on. My mom’s mom cruised over here from Scotland in about 1910. Do I get a break for that since it was a half-century after slavery ended? And it ended, in some tiny part, because of my great-great grandfather, or maybe g...

Trump considers doing away with disparate impact bias claims

Paul Sperry: In what would be one of the Trump administration’s most far-reaching moves regarding race relations, top White House officials are planning a sharp pullback from federal efforts to correct imbalances in outcomes for minorities in everything from housing to hiring. On the table: a ban on the use of a controversial numbers-focused racial-bias theory known as “disparate impact.” Federal regulators and lobbyists familiar with the change say the White House management and budget office is reviewing a proposed executive order, originally drafted by two conservative Washington think tanks, that would prohibit the use of “the disparate-impact approach in the enforcement or application of any civil-rights law.” A catalyst for the move is White House budget director Mick Mulvaney, who is currently also serving as interim White House chief of staff and who, while serving in Congress, was a longtime critic of disparate impact. It is not clear whether President Trump has decided ...

Hostility toward customers is bad for business--Who knew?

Washington Free Beacon: Dick's Sporting Goods told investors during the Goldman Sachs Retailing Conference that its gun-control stance hurt sales of its hunting business, outdoors business, and that it may close its outdoor-focused Field & Stream stores. Edward Stack, chairman and CEO of Dick's, said during the event that the sporting goods chain's recent 3.9 percent drop in same-store sales was the result of a mix of factors beyond their control as well as some he called "self-imposed." Specifically, he said, "the decisions we made on firearms" negatively affected their bottom line but the drop in sales was something they expected. They did not, however, regret their decision to change a number of their gun-sales policies and back new gun-control legislation. "Well I think it's definitely a factor, and it's nothing that we didn't anticipate," Stack said during the call. "As we put out kind of our guidance for the yea...

I must of have missed the part where slave owners made those who worked for them millionaires and allowed them to quit at will

Bleacher-Report: LeBron James: NFL Owners 'Old White Men' with 'Slave Mentality' Toward Players LeBron James statements are themselves racist and meant as insults.  The owners are business people and they have an interest in not seeing those who work for them chase off customers that allow them to pay players so handsomely.   It does not help his argument that the protesting players bought into the "hands up, don't shoot" lie that caused the Ferguson riots.

Majority of voters disapprove of NFL player protest during anthem recently endorsed by Nike with its promotion of Kaepernick

Washington Times: Nike’s decision to make Colin Kaepernick the new face of the brand comes even though most voters say the NFL player protests during the national anthem are unpatriotic, according to a newly released poll. The Pop Polling poll of 894 registered voters released Wednesday found that 57 percent surveyed agreed the refusal to stand for the anthem is unpatriotic, while 43 percent disagreed. Voters were split on whether players who remain in the locker room or refuse to stand during the ceremony should be fired, as President Trump has said, with 51 percent agreeing and 49 percent disagreeing. “The NFL’s national anthem protest problem is likely to continue to persist this season,” said Pop Polling managing director Macy Cambio. “With a strong majority of voters agreeing with President Trump that player protests are unpatriotic, the NFL is going to have to walk a fine line between allowing player protests on the field and further alienating their fan base off of it.” ...

The left and its super sensitive ears when it comes to alleging racism

NY Times: DeSantis Warns Florida Not to ‘Monkey This Up,’ and Many Hear a Racist Dog Whistle The Republican nominee for governor in Florida drew condemnation from Democrats for a comment about his opponent, Andrew Gillum. The left never tires of trying to twist opponents words into a racists meme.   They have made a game of it with Trump so this is nothing new.   Trump is not a racist and neither is DeSantis.  This appears to be all the Democrats have these days since they were wrong on most of the issues when Trump ran and were wrong on their predictions of doom and gloom when his policies were put in place.  All they have left is to play a tattered race card.

This looks like and admission that the kneeling players are still acting on the 'hands up, don't shoot' lie

NY Times Op-ed: Football Players Are Protesting Police Violence, Not the Anthem There are consequences to mischaracterizing the reason players aren’t standing. They are still picking the wrong time and place for their demonstration and they are harming their own credibility by still pushing the police violence meme.  Most black men who meet violent ends do so at the hands of another black man and not the police.  The "hand up, don't shoot" lie was exposed by the Obama justice department yet the players still act as if it is credible.

Blacks have become Democrat captives to their detriment

Aubrey Shines: Black America's 'Stockholm Syndrome' ... Black America’s monolithic loyalty to the Democratic Party does not empower blacks, however. If we are not “allowed” to entertain any political alternatives, we are left locked into a party that has not served our interests. Call it a kind of collective Stockholm Syndrome: The condition that causes hostages to develop a psychological alliance with their captors. Trillions of dollars have been poured into the inner cities, and yet these groupthinkers are blind to the seven-decade failure of the Democratic Party’s policies to improve the lives of black Americans. When asked if it would not be better if single moms and dads could take their tax dollars and send their children to schools that are not ravished by gangs and drugs, the groupthinkers echo the narrative that black politicians and white liberals have taught them: That school choice “starves” the failing public school system and harms their neighborhoods. ...
