Durham case reveals documents wrongly withheld from Congress

Washington Examiner: ... Kash Patel , who was an aide to Republicans when they controlled the House Intelligence Committee under then-Chairman Nunes, said on Sunday that FBI notes disclosed as part of Durham's case against Democratic cybersecurity lawyer  Michael Sussmann  were subpoenaed by Nunes and "withheld" from the panel during its own Russia investigation. "These are documents that they clearly hid from Congress," Nunes, appearing with Patel, told host Maria Bartiromo on her Fox News program,  Sunday Morning Futures . During his time in Congress, Nunes  spearheaded 14 criminal referrals  to the Justice Department related to the Russia investigation and the 2016 election. Nunes  resigned his House seat  at the start of the year to become the CEO of Trump's media venture, Trump Media and Technology Group, which created the Truth Social platform. ... This sounds like it is another potential case against Sussmann.  Is there a claim of pri...

Nunes to work at Trump's social media company

Washington Examiner:   Devin Nunes to leave Congress at month's end for new Trump media company Nunes was one of the first to uncover the Russian collusion hoax aimed at trying to topple Trump after his election.  California Democrats apparently redistricted Nunes into a heavily Democrat Congressional District.  It looks like a Democrat payback for exposing their corrupt attempt to overthrow the Trump Presidency. WAPo accused of defamation by Nunes

Epoch Times: Washington Post Article Published With ‘Reckless Disregard of the Truth:’ Judge ... Nunes said he never believed that the Obama administration spied on Trump Tower, which is in New York. “Nakashima made up facts out of whole cloth, including that Plaintiff ‘believed’ that ‘intelligence files’ at the White House would ‘buttress his baseless claims of the Obama administration spying on Trump Tower.’ Nakashima did not have one shred of evidence to support her statement about Plaintiff’s ‘belief’ because, in truth, she completely fabricated the accusation,” his lawsuit states. In fact, in March 2017, the Post reported that Nunes challenged Trump’s claim that former President Barack Obama had ordered a wiretap of Trump Tower. ... “A newspaper’s own prior (and correct) reporting that is inconsistent with its later (and incorrect) reporting could certainly give the paper reason to seriously doubt the truth of its later publication—just as a source’s pre-publication recan...

Nunes memo on Russian collusion hoax became a trap ensnaring Democrats

Washington Examine r: ... Kash Patel, an attorney who went on to take top national security roles in the Trump administration, told the  Epoch Times  in an  interview  last week about his strategy for writing the GOP memo, released in early 2018 over Democratic claims of politicization, that accused officials of misusing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to spy on ex-Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page as part of the investigation into former President Donald Trump's potential ties to Russia that started during the 2016 campaign. "It was game on because we figured out under the rules of the House Intel Committee that there was a way to release classified information if it met certain requirements, and this material met those requirements while safeguarding sources and methods, which we were able to do," Patel said in an episode of  American Thought Leaders . "And so, while we were quietly running that process ... on our side of the investigati...

Democrats rattled by election and not confident in outcome of challenges

Washington Examiner: ... "It's very, very strange," Nunes said. "If you look at the Democrats that we're working with — we're here in Washington, you know, back here this week after the election — these are essentially people that aren't acting very confident." Biden is projected to have 306 electoral votes, 36 more than is needed to win the Electoral College, and so far leads President Trump by about 6 million votes in the popular vote, according to the  Associated Press . But Trump refuses to concede the race, holding out for legal challenges and recounts to play out in several battleground states, while claiming that the election was rigged, although his team has not shown evidence of widespread fraud. While Biden is moving ahead with setting up an administration, he hasn't been given access to government resources for a presidential transition, which has raised national security concerns. The Trump team is running out of time, however, as s...

Will Biden be asked about Obama administration spying on Trump and his campaign?

PJ Media: Nunes: Obama and Biden Knew About Spying on the Trump Campaign I think Obama was responsible for the spying and Biden was a co-conspirator in the effort to use the FBI and intel agencies in a political targetting of Trump.

The Mueller probe was a bad-faith operation from the beginning

Devin Nunes: ... Despite the raft of leaks and “bombshell” media stories about the Mueller team supposedly uncovering all sorts of irrefutable collusion evidence, there were signs it had no such evidence even before it issued its report. For example, there was FBI agent Peter Strzok’s text message from May 19, 2017, two days after Mueller was appointed, in which Strzok told his lover Lisa Page about the current state of the collusion evidence and shared his thoughts on whether he should join the Mueller team: “You and I both know the odds are nothing,” said Strzok. “If I thought it was likely, I’d be there, no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern there’s no big there, there.” This means that when Mueller took over the investigation, he would have learned on his first day that the FBI, after investigating for nearly a year, had found no evidence of a collusion conspiracy. And yet he continued the probe. And the accompanying media circus went on for ...

The Obama administration's unmasking binge against Trump

Washington Examiner: A  declassified list  of U.S. officials who received information in response to "unmasking" requests has given allies of President Trump fresh ammunition to question the actions of Obama-era ambassadors. Rep. Devin Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said the National Security Agency memo, which focused on spy intercepts of conversations then-incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn had with foreigners from the 2016 election to Trump's inauguration, is "just the tip of the iceberg." "A lot of them went wild after Trump won. They got poisoned with this Russia hoax," Nunes  told  Fox News on Wednesday, referring to the previous administration. "That's why you had Obama ambassadors across the globe unmasking — all of them were just unmasking and then leaking out about anyone within the Trump campaign and the Trump transition that they could." This is a controversy that emerged ...

Nunes suit accuses the WaPo of false and misleading statements about intel briefing

Washington Examiner: Rep. Devin Nunes filed a lawsuit for $250 million in damages against the Washington Post and intelligence reporter Shane Harris, alleging that a story from the paper related to a classified House Intelligence Committee briefing on Russian interference amounted to defamation. “This action arises out of a WaPo hit piece that was manufactured out of whole cloth,” the California Republican’s 23-page Monday complaint said. “Billionaire Jeff Bezos purchased WaPo in 2013 for the purpose of using WaPo’s mighty pen to influence Federal elections." It continued, "Bezos’ WaPo heavily promoted the Russian ‘collusion’ hoax between 2017 and 2019, in spite of the fact that there was no evidence that any member of the Trump campaign colluded with any ‘Russian’ to influence the 2016 Presidential Election. This is 2020. As this case illustrates, Bezos and his printing press remain desperate to defame the President of the United States and his allies in Congress. Thi...
