Obama failed to follow administrative procedure requirements on toilet tyranny rule

Washington Examiner: Federal judge blocks Obama transgender bathroom directive for schools This appears to be consistent with the recent ruling on Obama's amnesty attempt where the court found that he did not follow the proper procedures for an administrative order.

Target in the toilets

Washington Post: Target to spend $20 million on single-stall bathrooms after backlash to its restroom policy The retailer earlier this year weighed in during a national debate over a law in North Carolina requiring people to use public bathrooms that correspond to their gender at birth. Targets stand for the .03 percent of Americans who think they are transgender has been very costly well before the $20 million remodel it has brought about.  The company's position sparked a boycott of a million or so shoppers and the company stock declined from $83.50 to $67 a month after it announced its policy. It was not a good decision by the company's management.  It was a decision with no upside.  It soon sparked stories of perverts in the toilets and dressing rooms who may have been only pretending to be transgender to take advantage of the policy.  The single stall toilets are unlikely to stop the problem.

The weirdness of Target management

Breitbart: Target CEO Blames Climate Change, Not Bathroom Policy, for Hurting Sales And there is this: This Man Saved A Girl From Being Stabbed To Death, And Now Target Is Suing Him For It Michael Turner saved a 16-year-old girl from being stabbed to death, and Target wants him to apologize for it. I guess it should not be that surprising that they would also try to normalize deviancy with  their toilet tyranny policy.

Sex and the liberal mind

Caleb Howe: ... American liberals want you to know every college is wall-to-wall pervert rapists ... well except in genderless bathrooms you bigoted JERK. ... The push to accommodate transsexuals  who make up a fraction of one percent of the population seems misplaced when they could go big and force accommodation for public nudity.  Why stop with genderless restrooms?  It is estimated that around 25 percent of the population admits to going skinny dipping .  That is a much larger group than the trannies. Reports do indicate that at nude resorts the restrooms are not genderless.  Imagine that.

More states join the fight against Obama's toilet tyranny agenda

Caleb Howe: President Obama's plan to put men in women's bathrooms isn't going so well. Just a few days ago we told you about 12 states fighting back against his decree that public schools pull the switcheroo or lose funding. Now even more states are on board. On Wednesday, Louisiana and Pennsylvania both blasted Obama's power grab. Louisiana's Attorney General Jeff Landry announced that he was fighting back in dramatic fashion, sending a letter across the state to the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, Board of Regents, Louisiana High School Athletic Association, Louisiana School Boards Association, Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board, and Office of Juvenile Justice declaring that Obama has "no legal authority" for the action. ... He joins Texas and other states in making direct threat of legal action to protect the state from Obama's unlawful threats. And that's not all. In Pennsylvania, a different sort of fight...

Obama's order on transgender toilet requirements violates US law

CNS. News: Administration has done it again. In an effort to strip school children of their modesty and morals, Obama has issued new instructions governing use of restrooms, locker rooms, and showers in every government-funded school in the country. And, in predictably lawless fashion, Obama has violated not one, but two federal laws. First, he took a 1972 law, Title IX, which was designed to prevent sex discrimination in education, and says that as of Friday, the word “sex” in the statute does not mean the “sex” you were born with. It means whatever “gender” you feel like on a given day. And, if that was not bad enough, the manner in which the Obama Administration acted was to legislate by letter, not just usurping legislative power, but by violating another federal law — the Administrative Procedure Act. ... There is more. It should be noted that Obama's illegal amnesty order was found to violate the Aministrative Procedures Act in the case brought by Texas and other s...

Only 33 percent approve of Obama's order on transgender accommodation

Washington Times: A majority of Americans in a new poll say they oppose President Obama’s order telling schools to allow transgender students to use the bathroom corresponding with their gender identity, rather than biological sex. Fifty-one percent of adults said they are against the decision, compared to 33 percent who are in favor and 16 percent who are undecided, according to a Rasmussen Reports survey released on Tuesday. Parents of elementary and secondary school children are even more opposed to the mandate, which puts federal education dollars at risk for noncompliant schools. Fifty-five percent of parents with school children said they oppose the order, while 32 percent said they support the decision. Americans also overwhelmingly believe the federal government should not be involved in regulating school bathroom access, with just 24 percent supporting regulations issued from Washington. Another 25 percent said the matter is best left to state governments, while a plur...

Cruz critical of Obama's toilet tyranny

The Hill: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) blasted President Obama on Saturday over his administration’s new guidelines advising public schools to allow transgender students to use bathrooms that match their gender identity. “The president issued a decree to every public school in America, demanding that they change their bathroom policies,” Cruz said during the Texas GOP convention in his first major speech since dropping out of the presidential race. “Demanding that every public school now allow grown men and boys into the little girls’ bathroom.” “We have entered the world of politically correct lunacy,” he added. Cruz blasted the president for what he saw as executive overreach infringing on states’ rights. “And there is nothing in the constitution that gives the president the power to be the bathroom police for this country,” he said. “This is an embodiment of just how off track we’ve gotten, that the president believes he can decree to every public school in America, ‘I, Barack...

Target's costly defense of deviancy

Breitbart: Target CEO Defends Pro-Transgender Policy, Stocks Crash Down Another $2 Billion Left wing politics can be very costly for companies.  Smarter CEO's would avoid the controversy and look out for their customer's safety.

Obama continues weird push for deviant restroom rights

NY Times: Restrooms Must Honor Gender Identity, U.S. Tells Schools A letter to school districts orders them to allow transgender students to use the bathroom of their choice. It does not have the force of law, but contains an implicit threat of possible lawsuits or a loss of federal aid. The threat of the loss of federal aid is not particularly credible.  Democrats use federal aid as a hammer to force schools to provide programs and spend on items they otherwise would not.  While not an empty threat, it is not as potent as Obama might perceive.  The threat of a lawsuit has little basis in the law and would take an activist court to reinterpret existing statutes that do not mention transgender issues. As a political matter, this does not look like a winning issue for Democrats.  In fact, it makes them look like they are focused on normalizing deviancy while they are allowing much bigger issues to fester.  Obama's attempt to bypass congress and the p...

DOJ acting as the muscle for the transgender mafia

NY Times: North Carolina Governor Won’t Concede That Transgender Law Is Biased After failing to reach an agreement with the Justice Department that would have allowed him to delay his reply, Gov. Pat McCrory said he would respond Monday. The DOJ position is absurd on its face and its unrealistic approach to the North Carolina law should be rejected by the courts.  The Obama administration is acting like thug Chicago Way politicians.  Their push for the left wing toilet tyranny agenda shows a lack of decency and common sense as well as an attack on gender privacy.

DOJ offers perverse reading of civil rights act to push leftist toilet tyranny

NY Times: Justice Dept. Warns North Carolina Over Transgender Bill The Justice Department said the measure violates federal law under Title VII, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, according to a law enforcement official. This is an absurd reading of the law.  It also violates the constitutional right to privacy.   It demonstrates just how committed the left is to deviancy.

What is driving the toilet tyranny on the left?

Kim Holmes: ... There are all sorts of reasons why it's a bad idea to let men in women's bathrooms, but what interests me in the bathroom wars is the larger context of the fight. It reveals how aggressive the progressive Left has become in the culture wars. The cultural Left, which for decades has been pushing sexual revolution as the avant-garde of a larger crusade against traditional morality, is losing its liberal mind. Sensing victory, it is starting to show its ugly illiberal teeth. It's not good enough merely to accommodate transgender people while respecting the rights of others. That would be the traditional "liberal" solution. No, they must press their agenda with obnoxious boycotts, draconian court rulings and by rewriting the laws to force their views on everyone else. Tolerance is not enough. They demand complete and utter conformity to their point of view. Why so authoritarian? The higher aim of progressive liberalism today is to deconstruct tr...
