 Media Research Center: Lately, much outrage has been expressed over the supposedly  racist  laws instituted in Georgia, particularly over the regulation stipulating that all voters must bring a photo ID in order to vote. It turns out, most African-Americans don’t mind.    According to  Breitbart , a Rasmussen Reports survey indicated that black voters supported the measures taken by Georgia’s new voting law, "The Election Integrity Act of 2021." The survey asked, “Are laws requiring voters to show photo identification such as a driver’s license before being allowed to vote necessary to ‘a fair and secure election process?'" Rasmussen reported that 73 percent of black respondents answered “yes.”  The question was asked to 1,000 people from April 1-4, and the survey was  released on Tuesday . Eric Holder: The Supreme Court can’t allow Trump to weaponize the census Holder gets it backward.  The Democrats have been using people in the country illegally to replace their shrinking base of support from citizens.  They fear an honest count of eligible voters.  It goes to their current policy of opposing anything to restrict illegal immigration into the country.  The Democrat base has been shrinking for several reasons including bad policy choices as well as aborting future Democrats by the millions since Roe v. Wade .

Washington Post: Obama’s attorney general rebukes Trump: ‘I had a president I did not have to protect’ Eric Holder, who served in the Obama administration, appeared on “Real Time With Bill Maher” and was asked about the revelation that dozens of Trump aides still lack permanent security clearance. Holder was probably one of the worst Attorney Generals in history.  The main thing he was better at than John Mitchell is covering up for the scandals of President Obama.  Scandals like Fast and Furious where the US watched gun runners sell weapons to narco-terrorists is just one example.  He also covered up the Democrats' targeting of Tea Pary groups by the IRS, and he still acts like that was an OK thing to do.  He was held in contempt of Congress in one of his blatant cover-up efforts. NY Times: Cutting N.R.A. Ties Pits Companies Against the G.O.P. Delta Air Lines and others faced conservative backlash as they became mired in the gun control debate. The media, the left, and these companies are ignoring those who were really responsible for the shooter being allowed to buy a gun. It was the Obama-Holder Promise Program which colluded with schools and local law enforcement to keep juveniles criminal conduct from being recorded and showing up on the FBI database.  Without that collusion, this guy would not have a sheriff's office ignore his criminal activity.  The school was in on the scam too.  In fact, its superintendent was hired to reduce the number of students charged with criminal conduct.  They did it by not reporting crimes. Washington Post: Eric Holder discusses Mueller probe, criminal justice with Jonathan Capehart Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder sits down for a wide-ranging interview with the Pulitzer Prize-winning opinion writer and host of the “Cape Up” podcast. We now know that Obama and Holder policies that kept law enforcement from charging juveniles from being charged with serious crime led directly to the Broward shooter being able to buy a gun that he otherwise would have been blocked from acquiring.   Why not ask him about blood on their hands?  Their policies were far more responsible than those of the NRA. Also, why not ask him about his own scandals such as Fast and Furious and his obstruction of justice in dealing with the IRS abuses?  Are liberals blind to teh abuses of Holder and Obama?

NY Times: Lines Out the Door and Strong Sales at Tampa Gun Show As calls for gun bans intensify, a show continued in Tampa, Fla. Several sellers said they were on track to double their normal sales for a weekend even as some said they would support certain limits. Just when sales were in decline after Obama left office the Democrats overplay their hand on a school shooting and reinvigorate the market for guns. There is another irony to the attempts to blame the NRA for the shooting.  It now looks like a policy pushed by Obama and Eric Holder was responsible for the shooter not being in the database for background checks.  The school in Florida adopted their system of not charging juveniles for serious crims to keep their record clean.  They even gave the school money for going along with their scheme and apparently local law enforcement was also in on the scam. Red States: The Man Responsible For “Operation Fast And Furious” Thinks Jeff Sessions Is Dumb Erick Holder should go down in history as one of the worst Attorney Generals ever.  Not only did he help his own DOJ cover up a deadly program like Fast and Furious which led to people being killed in the US and Mexico, but he also helped to cover up the criminal behavior of Democrats in the IRS abuse cases involving the Tea Party.  The latter was done to help Obama win the 1012 election.

NY Times: California Hires Holder, Girding for Battles With Trump The state’s Democratic-led Legislature decided to retain Eric H. Holder Jr., a former attorney general under President Obama, to represent it in any legal fights against the new Republican White House. I do not expect Holder to have much influence with the Trump administration.  He was good at protecting the Obama administration from scandals like Fast and Furious and the IRS abuses, but he lacks the power to do that sort of thing now.   California along with New York and Illinois are the worse states when it comes to taxing regulating business to death and they apparently want to keep that going in spite of the Trump administration's deregulation effort which would increase jobs and prosperity.

The president doubled down in an interview with NPR last week. Asked if race relations were worse since he took office, he said, “No, I actually think that it’s probably in its day-to-day interactions less racially divided.” But that’s not what the American people see. Washington Post: Attorney general nominee has a long history with the man she may replace In 1980, Loretta Lynch was part of a sorority with Eric Holder’s wife. Now she is on the path to take his job. If she is anything like Eric Holder, that is bad news for the country.  He has been a dirty AG.  The recent revelations about Fast and Furious are just a hint of his mendacity.  His handling of the IRS abuses looks like another cover up.  Lynch will be challenged on the issue of Obama's unilateral amnesty of illegals, and she should also be challenged on the conflicts of interest at DOJ on the IRS case.
