Hate filled Democrats continue false charges of 'white nationalism' against Trump

NY Times: Warren Joins O’Rourke in Calling Trump a White Supremacist In an interview, Senator Elizabeth Warren said President Trump had “done everything he can to stir up racial conflict and hatred in this country.” These allegations are bogus just like their charges of racism.  It is a desperate attempt by Democrats to hang onto their minority base after Trump made inroads with it by actually fulfilling his promise to create jobs for them.   The Democrats are desperate to foster hatred of the President and Biden and Booker are falsely accusing Trump of what they are in fact doing.  The Democrat politicians doing this are completely shameless.  Perhaps they are just emotionally hysterical that Trump policies are working so well when they predicted just the opposite.

The Democrats and their Hopeless investigation

Roger Kimball: ... ... Jerry Nadler, the Jabba the Hutt of the House, has issued subpoenas to Hope Hicks and to Annie Donaldson, former deputy White House counsel and therefore a chief aide to Don McGahn, the former White House counsel, in order to inflict further torment in pursuit of their unholy grail, the removal of Donald Trump from office. The subpoenas stipulate that the ladies are to turn over various documents by early June and then appear before the House Judiciary Committee later in the month. The subpoena says that, but I wonder what thepoena, the penalty, in subpoena really consists of in this case. Don McGahn himself, at the instruction of the White House, blew off a demand that he appear before them on Tuesday, just as AG Bill Barr did a week or two ago. Jerry Nadler stamped his feet and banged his gavel. But just as Eric Holder ignored a contempt of Congress citation, so it is likely that these people will, too. And so will Reince Priebus, a former chief of staff t...

CBS's Lara Logan comes down on the liberal media and highlights the few conservative alternatives

Mediate: In a recent interview, CBS News Foreign Correspondent Lara Logan critiqued the international “liberal” media while holding up outlets like Breitbart and Fox News as the opposite side of the coin. Logan spoke to retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland about a variety of topics on Friday for his Mike Drop podcast (h/t Breitbart ), and the conversation eventually turned toward her agreement with Ritland that “the media everywhere is mostly liberal, not just the U.S.” As Logan lamented that voter registration among journalists shows that the media is out of balance, she came with a metaphor to explain how she believes the press is tinged by the sameness of opinion. “Visually, anyone who’s ever been to Israel and been to the Wailing Wall has seen that the women have this tiny little spot in front of the wall to pray, and the rest of the wall is for the men. To me, that’s a great representation of the American media, is that in this tiny little corner where the women pray you’ve got B...

Did FBI redact information that showed Hillary partisans were behind spying on Trump campaign>

George Neumeyer: ... Were the redactions covering material harmful to Trump, that material would have been leaked by now. So the redactions can only be concealing the fingerprints of Hillary’s partisans in the Obama administration. The FBI will eventually have to fess up to the politicization to which it succumbed — that the most virulent Hillary partisan imaginable, John Brennan, had put pressure on FBI officials to start the probe, that a Trump hater, Peter Strzok, formally opened up the probe, that the smears of a paid opposition researcher for Hillary, Christopher Steele, contributed to the probe, that scandalous “intelligence-sharing” between Brennan and foreign intelligence agencies shaped the probe, and that FBI officials suspected the probe was unfounded but pursued it anyways at the insistence of Obama officials. The FBI says it is redacting “sensitive information.” That’s true in an ironic sense: the FBI is very sensitive about the information, in that it illuminates the...

Fusion GPS leader's testimony looks like an attempt to deceive Congress?

Power Line: Few people had heard of Bruce Ohr until recently, but he was an important bureaucrat in the Department of Justice–until a month or so ago, he was both associate deputy attorney general and director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force. He was demoted in December 2016,  apparently  because he “withheld his contacts with the Fusion GPS men  [Glenn Simpson and Christopher Steele]  from colleagues at the DOJ.” So Glenn Simpson’s  testimony before the House Intelligence Committee , as it relates to Ohr, is of great interest. Simpson testified in November 2016, a month before it came out that his wife, Nellie,  worked for Fusion’s Simpson ; not only that, she worked on the Donald Trump “investigation.” The conflict of interest here is almost unbelievable; but remember, in November 2016, no one knew about it. This is what Glenn Simpson had to say about his dealings with Bruce Ohr, when Ohr was a senior member of the Department of J...

Obama officials embraced the dirty dossier knowing that it was unverified briefing Congress and the courts as if true

Andrew McCarthy: When you look at it hard, two conclusions are impossible to escape: First, at the height of the 2016 campaign, Obama intelligence officials anxiously adopted Christopher Steele’s allegations of traitorous conduct by then-candidate Donald Trump rather than first subject his “dossier” to rigorous investigation — even though Steele himself admits that his “raw,” “unverified” reports might not be true. Second, at the same time the FBI was receiving Steele’s reports — which were based on multiple-hearsay from anonymous Russian sources, and paid for by the Clinton campaign — Obama intelligence officials were briefing congressional leaders about them, thereby ensuring that they’d be publicized just six weeks before Election Day. ... There is much more. It is also likely that they presented the unverified "intelligence" as fact to the FISA court.  I doubt the court was told that it was based on hearsay that Democrat dollars were used to pay Russian sources fo...

The Clinton-Obama deal with the devil in Syria

Breitbart: The Obama administration supported the terrorist group that became ISIS as the group struggled to gain control of the Syria-Iraq border where ISIS now claims its caliphate, according to an intelligence report sent to Hillary Clinton. Breitbart News reported Tuesday on a “Secret” classified intelligence report sent to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other top U.S. officials and agencies in August 2012. The report confirmed that Western and Gulf states were joining with Turkey to “support” the Syrian opposition to dictator Bashar al Assad. The report confirmed that the Syrian opposition was being led by three groups, including Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), which later became ISIS. The report confirmed that AQI was communicating through spokesman Muhammad al Adnani, who is now the chief spokesman for ISIS. Western and Gulf states and Turkey helped these Syrian opposition groups to control the Syria-Iraq border, according to the report. ISIS later violently formed ...

Black enough ='s liberal enough

Washington Times: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was in a happy mood, talking about stereotypes — racial or religious — and how he enjoys defying them in the pursuit of impartiality. "You know what?" he asked editors and reporters at a luncheon yesterday at The Washington Times. "I love walking on the third rail because I am a free man. It's more important to me to be free than to be popular." In a wide-ranging interview, Justice Thomas discussed the popularity of his recently published memoir, his judicial philosophy, his dirt-poor upbringing in rural Georgia and his views about affirmative action. Displaying an easygoing joviality, he punctuated his remarks with dashes of humor and a hearty laugh. He addressed criticism that he isn't "black enough" because of his belief in personal responsibility and his opposition to affirmative action, noting similar criticism of Democratic presidential contender Sen. Barack Obama. "It's ridicul...

Blackness becomes meaningless

Kathleen Parker: In the politics of race, black and white isn't so black-and-white anymore. Rather than a matter of skin tone and pigmentation, race has become a question of blackness and whiteness -- a calculation of attitude, experience and cultural identity. ... Our first hint that the race card had found a new game was when Nobel Prize-winning writer Toni Morrison called Bill Clinton "our first black president." "Clinton displays almost every trope of blackness: single-parent household, born poor, working-class, saxophone-playing, McDonald's-and-junk-food-loving boy from Arkansas." At the risk of contradicting Morrison, but for the sax, those are white-trash tropes. Toss in a banjo and you've got Deliverance. Nevertheless, Morrison's title stuck and Clinton subsequently was hailed as "First Black President" at the 2001 Congressional Black Caucus Annual Awards Dinner. But if Clinton was the first black president, what would Bar...

NAACP pushes racial hoaxes

Walter Williams: Last May, firefighters at a Baltimore, Md., fire station came under scrutiny for displaying a deer with an afro wig, gold tooth, gold chain and a cigarette hanging from its mouth. Marvin "Doc" Cheatham, president of the Baltimore chapter of the NAACP, went ballistic, charging, "There is now and has been a culture of racism and white supremacy within the Baltimore City Fire Department." As it turns out, it was a black fireman who dressed up the critter. Cheatham refused to apologize for his accusations of fire department racism, maintaining "there is now and has been a culture of racism and white supremacy within the Baltimore City Fire Department." On Nov. 21, a hangman's noose was found at the fire station with a note, "We can't hang the cheaters, but we can hang the failures. No EMT-1, NO JOB." The noose and note turned up on the heels of an investigation into allegations of cheating on the test that emergency medic...
