Arab's rethinking their past hostility to Israel

NY Times:

Arab Thinkers Call to Abandon Boycotts and Engage With Israel

It’s a viewpoint that is, to put it mildly, politically incorrect in their home countries, but members of a new Arab council say ostracizing Israel simply doesn’t work.
I suspect Iran is probably the major reason for this change in attitude.  It is threatening the Sunni Arab majority and is using proxies to attack Srabs the same way they use proxies to attack Israel.  Israel has built a strong economy that is not overreliant on oil and gas, and its military is one of the strongest in the world.  Even the Russians are buying Israelis weapon systems.  The Arab states like the fact that Israel is counter-attacking Iran.
