The media warned us about global warming, but not a deep freeze

Why would Texas have prepared for record cold and snow if they listened to the media and other global warming fanatics the last forty years?

They have tried to cover themselves by arguing that any severe weather is "climate change."  Temperature records show similar cold and hot days have happened in the past, just not frequently.
