Poll finds Obama worst President since World War II

USA Today:

In a new Quinnipiac University Poll, 33% named Obama the worst president since World War II, and 28% put Bush at the bottom of post-war presidents.

"Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

Of course, Obama and Bush are the most recent presidents; historians will tell you that it takes decades to truly measure an individual president's performance.

Ronald Reagan topped the poll as the best president since World War II, with 35%. He is followed by presidents Bill Clinton (18%) and John F. Kennedy (15%).

Obama received only 8% in the best presidents poll.

Obama made several mistakes.  His strategic blunders in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya were extremely costly in terms of lives and treasure.  His healthcare plan was sold based on lies and drove up the cost for almost all people on individual plans.   His energy policies were a disaster pushing inefficient alternative energy and attempting to stymie the growth of fossil fuels.

I think Kennedy is overrated.  His Vietnam strategy was a costly failure.  His tax cuts were a plus that encouraged growth.  Clinton actually worked with Congress to balance the budget on the plus side, but his handling of Islamic terrorist was a failure.

Gorge W. Bush acted on bad intelligence from the CIA in Iraq, and his administration did not see the need for additional forces to deal with an insurgency until it was almost too late.  Obama compounded the problem by retreating giving space for ISIS to grow and commit genocide on a grand scale.
