Trump policies against globalization looking smart after spread of virus

Washington Post:

Covid-19 is erasing decades of economic gains achieved through globalization

The way we travel, work, consume, invest, interact, migrate, cooperate on global problems and pursue prosperity has likely been changed for years to come.
Trump's policies of bringing jobs back to the US look like a smart move at this point. We need to speed up some of these moves, particularly the manufacture of drugs.  Democrats and past administration exported many of these jobs and put the country at the mercy of a hostile power that failed to warn the world about a pandemic.
