Persecution of Christians continues in Muslim world

Washington Post:
Gunmen in Egypt kill 23 in attack on bus carrying Coptic Christians

It was the latest attack on the embattled Christian minority which has been increasingly targeted by militants from the Islamic State.
This is not government sponsored persecution, but that of Islamic religious bigots who are intolerant of anyone who rejects their version of Islam.

The Democrat surrender monkeys

Don Surber: ... The Democratic Party victory is seen as a victory for the opponents of democracy in the Middle East in general and Iraq in particular. I am not blaming Democrats. I blame the 31 million Americans who have given up after less than 4 years. They may not eat cheese, but they are surrender monkeys. That half of them supported the war when it began is sickening. I can deal with a Robert C. Byrd. He opposed sending our troops into harm’s way. But Jay Rockefeller? John Kerry? Jack Murtha? They and the hundreds of other Democrats who voted for the war only to give up later are throwing away lives of our Iraqi allies who were foolish enough to trust us when President Bush said we were in Iraq to stay. Now they are running for cover. ... The Democratic “peace plan” will not bring peace to anyone. It will simply will bring our troops home and cede an important battleground in the war on terror to the terrorists. Swapping land for security just does not work.... ... It always amaze...
