Diversity of thought not appreciated at universities?

 Epoch Times:

At University, Ideological Dissent Is Not Welcome

Ideological diversity is not appreciated by the leftists who dominate the education establishment.  I think that is one of the reasons Critical Race Theory has been pushed to extremes in many institutions.

The Chicago way

Image
Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh · 1h NOW: JD Vance absolutely decimates Gov. JB Pritzker "Governor Pritzker will talk a lot about how bad Donald Trump is, about how bad I am, and about how bad the administration is. He is the governor of a state that where its biggest city has murder rates that rival the most violent places in the THIRD WORLD!" "WHY is he so mad at Donald Trump for trying to keep Chicagoans safe? He should be mad at the CRIMINALS that he has failed to keep at bay. We're trying to help him, and we're trying to help the residents of his biggest city." "I wish that he would let us, because he certainly isn't doing the job himself!" Now they are running for cover. ... The Democratic “peace plan” will not bring peace to anyone. It will simply will bring our troops home and cede an important battleground in the war on terror to the terrorists. Swapping land for security just does not work.... ... It always amaze...

The story of the Girl of Qatif, as the alleged rape victim has been called by the media here, has triggered a rare debate about Saudi Arabia's legal system, in which judges have wide discretion in punishing a criminal, rules of evidence are shaky and sometimes no defense lawyers are present. The result, critics say, are sentences left to the whim of judges. These include one in which a group of men got heavier sentences for harassing women than the men in the Girl of Qatif rape case or three men who were convicted of raping a boy. In another, a woman was ordered to divorce her husband against her will based on a demand by her relatives. In the case of the Girl of Qatif, she was sentenced to 90 lashes for being alone in a car with a man to whom she ...
