Chicom’s shakes tech from buildings to rail cars
Legal Insurrection:
A Disturbing Review of Stolen and Failing Chinese Technology
Shaking skyscrapers and poorly constructed rail cars latest in long, list of failed Chinese construction.
It is a long piece that discusses engineering and manufacturing problems in significant projects. From the Three Gorges Dam to the 1,167 feet SEG Plaza skyscraper that sways so much things are sliding off desks and people are evacuating in fear of it toppling. There also the hundreds of rail cars Boston bought for its transit system that still have not shown up. The ones that did show up were taking out of service because of poor quality and weird noises.
There is much more in the piece including a video of the swaying skyscraper.
