Hispanic poverty hits a historic low in the US

Daily Mail:

This graph illustrates the rate of poverty each year since 1972 among Hispanics, white people and all Americans, according to U.S. Census data

The 1.1 percent year-on-year decrease in their rate poverty of in 2017 was the largest single decline that the U.S. Hispanic population has ever experienced, according to Census data.
I suspect this is one of the reasons why Trump's approval numbers among Hispanics has been on the rise.  The unemployment rate for Hispanics is also at a record low.  In living around Hispanics most of my life I have found them to be industrious and hard working.
