Media proves once against that it does not understand Trump voters

New York Times Contributor Smears Trump Supporters Because He Couldn’t Change Their Minds

The reporter seemed to think that if he could talk directly to Trump voters he could "liberal explain" why they should change their minds.  While the Trump voters were polite, they were unpersuaded.  The guy seemed immune from understanding their point of view.
