Democrats open borders agenda exposed by their opposition to a border barrier

Washington Post:

President Trump and his political team plan to make his years-long quest for a border wall one of the primary thrusts of his reelection effort. Though he has yet to build an inch of the concrete or steel wall he promised, he and and his campaign have begun relying on a rhetorical sleight of hand: speaking the wall into existence.

The Democrats are just factually wrong when they say that border walls do not work.  They clearly work all over the world and they work in the parts of the US border where they have been built.  To say otherwise is either ignorance or a lie.  Part of the lie was exposed by Beto O'Rourke who wants to remove existing walls because it leads people to try to come in in places where there is no wall.  By glomming onto O'Rourke's support for removing all walls the Democrats have finally admitted they really want open borders.  That policy is inconsistent with US polling.  It is a good issue for Trump.
