Authorities were able to identify Rahami with the help of a cell phone left behind with an unexploded pressure cooker found on West 27th Street — blocks away from the explosion on West 23rd Street, a source told ABC News.

He is believed to be the man seen in surveillance video taken Saturday night in Chelsea and at the scene on West 27th Street, a law enforcement source told ABC News.

Rahami is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and brown facial hair.

The alarming possibility of a terror cell in New York and New Jersey emerged as the FBI launched a raid in Elizabeth, New Jersey, early Monday — hours after authorities discovered five suspicious devices, one of which blew up near a train station.

The feds, including members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, raided an apartment where Rahami lives above a fried chicken restaurant on Elmora Avenue.

Rahami was born in Afghanistan. He appears pudgy in the surveillance video that accompanies the story. The story does not indicate any accomplices.
