Open Borders dispute leads to collapse of Dutch government

NY Times: Dutch Government Collapses Over Migration Dispute The populist Geert Wilders withdrew his right-wing party from the ruling coalition, saying partners were stalling plans for the Netherlands’ “strictest migration policy ever.” I am with Wilders in this dispute.  Governments have the job of protecting their borders from illegal entry.  In the US, it is clear that Trump was much better at protecting the borders than Biden, and that is one of the reasons Democrats lost the 2024 election.  The Netherlands is a much smaller country with an even greater need to protect its border before the locals are outnumbered.

The Islamic threat to Europe

RadioGenoa @RadioGenoa Geert Wilders: "The Dutch population is being replaced by Islamic immigrants. In our three big cities Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam more than 50% of newborns are the children of immigrants. The Dutch will soon be a minority. The Netherlands will become an Islamic country backward, heII on earth!" This is clearly one of the downsides to open borders in Europe and elsewhere. Palestinians behind attacks on Jews in Amsterdam

Newsmax: Israeli intelligence officials have identified Dutch organizations with Hamas ties as the primary instigators of last week's disturbances in Amsterdam, according to a report released Wednesday by Israel's Diaspora Affairs Ministry. The report details how several local organizations allegedly utilized social media platforms to heighten tensions and orchestrate attacks against Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer fans following their match against a Dutch team. Evidence includes screenshots from that evening showing explicit calls for violence and coordinated sharing of locations and tactical information. The report identifies the Palestinian Community in the Netherlands (PGNL) as the primary organization behind the violence, claiming it maintains direct connections to Hamas. The document provides detailed evidence of these connections, including specific individuals reportedly serving as intermediaries. ... Mobs attack Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam

Red State: Multiple outlets are reporting that anti-Israel mobs are chasing down Israelis and savagely beating them on the streets of Amsterdam Thursday following a soccer game between Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and Amsterdam's Ajax. As of this writing, dozens of extremely disturbing videos are being posted to X depicting violent beatings as individuals are surrounded and then pummeled.  It’s ugly :    Danny Danon, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, gave an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital on Thursday night. "We are seeing a pogrom against Jews and Israelis unfold in Amsterdam," Danon said. "In 2024. This must stop. ‘Globalize the intifada’ was not just a slogan for these terrorist supporters. I urge the Dutch government to help all Israelis and Jewish people immediately. It’s time to respond with force against these barbaric rioters." ... The western world needs to wake up now!! This is the time when the UN should immediately and clearly condemn the...

Immigration issue a winner in Dutch election

Guardian: Two things were already clear months before Dutch election day: the Netherlands would have a new prime minister and dozens of new parliamentarians. Forty sitting members of parliament, a quarter of the Tweede Kamer (lower house), and, even more striking, three of the four leaders of the outgoing conservative-led coalition had announced their departure from national politics. Ironically, in this sea of electoral change, it was the far-right mainstay, Geert Wilders , the soon-to-be longest-sitting MP, who would emerge the big winner. How do we make sense of the political earthquake that has put Wilders and his PVV party in first place and how will it affect Dutch and European politics? The first, and most important, lesson is one that Dutch politicians in particular should have known, as it has happened over and over again in the past three decades in the Netherlands and throughout western Europe. If you make the elections about the issues of the far right, notably the “pr...

Europe and Dutch vs. farmers

Breitbart: EU Backs Dutch Scheme to Forcibly Shut Down Thousands of Farms, Ban Farmers From Returning to Agriculture Forever This is a Big Green program that claims farms are producing too much nitrogen.

Climate kooks threaten Dutch farmers

Legal Insurrection: Netherlands: 10,000 Farmers Protest Against Climate Change Regulations  Dutch politician Geert Wilders: “The real aim here is to get rid of our farmers for some leftist Nitrogen agenda and make room for non western immigrants.” The government has a fear of cow emissions.

Computer chip wars

Fox Business: The Netherlands on Wednesday said it would be blocking China from having access to chip manufacturing technology, stoking anger from Beijing, which subtly accused the European nation of siding with the U.S. in the ongoing chip war. The Dutch trade minister told the country’s parliament via a Wednesday letter that blocking China’s access to equipment that uses ultraviolet light to etch circuits on chips was necessary on security and human rights grounds. The minister’s letter stopped short of mentioning ASML Holdings, which is Europe’s largest tech firm and a major global supplier. Industry experts say a lack of access to ASML's most advanced technology is a serious handicap for China's efforts to develop its own chip industry. ASML's extreme-ultraviolet, or EUV, equipment uses light to etch microscopically precise circuits into silicon, allowing them to be packed more closely together. That increases their speed and reduces power demand. CHINA-US CHIP BATT...

Dutch government to buy up to 3,000 farms in response to climate cult

Daily Caller: The Dutch government is planning to buy and close down up to 3,000 farms near environmentally sensitive areas to be in compliance with EU environmental rules. It comes after farmer protests erupted this summer following a government plan to reduce nitrogen emissions by 50% by 2030, The New York Times reported . Farmers believe the measure unfairly targeted the agricultural sector, which is responsible for the largest portion of nitrogen emissions in the Netherlands, the Times added. The government will conduct a “compulsory purchase” of large nitrogen emitters as part of a voluntary, one-time offer, announced Nitrogen Minister Christianne van der Wal, Bloomberg reported . Farmers will be offered a deal “well over” the value of the farm, according to the government plan . She asserted “there is no better offer coming” in a Friday meeting with MPs. ... The Netherlands has become the world’s second largest exporter of agricultural products after the United States, and p...

Normals revolt against the elites

Newsweek: A popular uprising of working-class people against the elites and their values is underway—and it's crossing the globe. There is a growing resistance by the middle and lower classes against what Rob Henderson has coined the "luxury beliefs" of the elites, as everyday folks realize the harm it causes them and their communities. There were early glimmerings last February, when the Canadian Trucker Convoy pitched working class truck drivers against a "laptop class" demanding ever more restrictive COVID-19 policies. You saw it as well in the victory of Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin , who ran on parents' rights in education and went on to win both suburbs and rural areas. You can see it in the growing support of Hispanic voters for a Republican Party, which increasingly identifies as anti-woke, and pro-working class. And now we're seeing the latest iteration in the Netherlands in the form of a farmer's protest against new environmental rulin...

Dutch police shooting at farmers rebelling against climate kook policies

Legal Insurrection: Police in the Netherlands opened fire at farmers protesting against the government’s radical new “climate change” policies. The shots were fired when a tractor convoy tried to push past a police barricade, the local news reports say. “The incident occurred late Tuesday evening on a freeway access near Heerenveen” in northern Holland, the Swiss newspaper Schweizer Bauer reported . “Farmers had blocked the road with tractors. As they approached police and their vehicles, the officers resorted to their firearms and hit at least one of the tractors,” the daily added, citing police sources. No one was hurt in the incident, news reports confirm. ... Nationwide demonstrations erupted last week in response to the government’s new regulations — passed by the Parliament on June 28 — forcing the farmers to reduce emissions drastically. ... Armed with new regulations, the Dutch government is threatening to put farmers out of business. The government ministers “warn that fa...

Dutch famers respond to government restrictions

The farmers are responding to government attempts to "save the planet."  It looks like the environmental wackos went too far in restricting farming.

Another Covid insurrection in Netherlands

Epoch Times: Thousands of people in the Netherlands capital of Amsterdam gathered Sunday to demonstrate against the Dutch government’s COVID-19 lockdown measures before police cracked down. It came after Amsterdam mayor Femke Halsema issued an emergency ordinance giving more police to clear the central Museum Square after the protesters violated the city’s ban on public gatherings amid an increase in COVID-19 cases. The protesters also walked along a main thoroughfare in the capital city, playing music and holding yellow umbrellas in a sign of opposition to the government restrictions. Some participants had a banner that said : “Less repression, more care,” while a group in white masks and white overalls held up signs, reading: “It’s not about a virus, it’s about control.” Another held a “Trump 2024 flag.” Photos and video footage uploaded online showed what appeared to be police releasing dogs on anti-mandate protesters. Netherlands authorities deployed water cannons, footage ...

Dutch farmers rebel against the 'climate change' fascists

Image
NPR: Thousands of Dutch farmers rolled their tractors over highways to The Hague to protest a possible crackdown on nitrogen emissions from livestock and farming operations. The angry farmers snarled traffic for hundreds of miles in what has been called the Netherlands' busiest morning rush hour. Brightly colored rows of the tractors rolled slowly down main roads all morning on Tuesday. The Dutch automobile association ANWB says it recorded more than 700 miles of traffic jams at the peak of rush hour, mostly due to the protest.... ... "Farmers and growers are sick of being painted as a 'problem' that needs a 'solution'," Dirk Bruins of the agricultural industry group LTO said, according to Reuters. ... For example, one of the parties in the ruling coalition recently floated cutting in half the number of livestock allowed, while offering farmers financial incentives. Member of Parliament Tjeerd de Groot, who has argued in favor of that idea, was...

Dutch thwart Islamic terrorist attack plans

BBC: Police in the Netherlands have arrested seven men over an alleged plot to carry out what they describe as a major terrorist attack involving guns and explosives. Police say the men were trying to source AK47s, hand grenades and bomb materials to carry out their attack. The men, aged between 21 and 34, were arrested on Thursday. Three had been arrested previously for trying to travel abroad to join foreign militants. Prosecutors say the man at the centre of the group is a 34-year-old of Iraqi origin, who was convicted in 2017 for trying to travel to fight for the Islamic State group. They say they were tipped off about the plot in April 2018 by intelligence services, who said the main suspect wanted to target "a large event in the Netherlands where there would be a lot of victims". The seven men were arrested in the central city of Arnhem and southern municipality of Weert on Thursday afternoon by anti-terrorism teams from the country's Special Interven...

Europeans start to rebuild their devastated paradise islands in the Caribbean

BBC: European countries are boosting relief efforts in their Caribbean territories devastated by Hurricane Irma, amid criticism over the response. French President Emmanuel Macron, who is visiting French islands that took the full force of the storm, said a huge "airlift" was bringing more aid. UK Foreign Minister Boris Johnson is due in the region and the king of the Netherlands is touring Dutch islands. Irma killed at least 23 people in the three countries' overseas territories. The victims include 10 dead on the French island of St Barts and on the French part of St Martin - which is shared with the Netherlands. As he arrived in the region on Tuesday, President Macron said the government had responded with "one of the biggest airlifts since World War Two". He told reporters that last week's hurricane had been almost unprecedented and that the effort had been hampered by a second hurricane, Jose, in the area days later. He promised to "shake up all...

Islamic immigrant crime news being suppressed by European police?

Heat Street: Police ‘Bribed’ the Media to Cover Up Frightening European Immigrant Crime Statistics This took place in the Netherlands and it is possible the news was suppressed for political purposes since there is a strong movement against Islamist migration to that country.  It is also reminiscent of the UK use of the word Asians to describe Muslims from Pakistan who are engaged in criminal activity such as their sexual exploitation of non-Muslim girls in that country.

U.S. Marines thwart terror attack on a train from Amsterdam to Paris

Daily Mail: A group of unarmed US Marines on board a high-speed train between Amsterdam and Paris foiled a terrorist attack after a gunman opened fire with an assault rifle, wounding three people. The 26-year-old Moroccan national, who was known to security services, came out of the toilet brandishing the gun and opened fire. Fortunately, two US Marines were nearby and overpowered him before he could massacre passengers. The suspected terrorist had at least nine full magazines of ammunition holding almost 200 rounds. He was also carrying a knife. Unfortunately, one of the Marines was shot and is believed to be in a critical condition. ... The motives behind the attack were not immediately known, although a spokesman for the interior minister said: 'It is too early to speak of a terrorist link'. The incident happened approximately 115 miles north of Paris near the town of Arras ... Let's see, a Moroccan with an AK-47, could he be a Muslim?  It is unlikely he...
