Climate kooks relying on misleading data

Epoch Times: Trillions Spent on ‘Climate Change’ Based on Faulty Temperature Data, Climate Experts Say Meteorologist finds 96 percent of NOAA temperature stations located in ‘urban heat islands,’ including next to exhaust fans and on ‘blistering-hot rooftops.’ I live in the country far from these heat islands and find the climate pretty nice.  See also: BP urged to scale back its green agenda: Investor blasts oil giant's 'irrational' climate targets

Putin's war in Ukraine has exposed Russian weakness

NY Times: War in Ukraine Has Weakened Putin, C.I.A. Director Writes William J. Burns says Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has created recruiting opportunities for the spy agency and ushered in a new era. ...  Ukraine faces challenges in the war but has achieved dramatic results. Russia’s efforts to modernize its military has been “hollowed out,” and 315,000 Russians have been killed or wounded, Mr. Burns wrote. ... Russia has failed in its attempt to bring Ukraine back into its orbit.  It has also exposed the weakness of the Russian conventional military.  See also: Russia accidentally bombed itself again, the fourth time this month, UK intel says And:  Abandoning Ukraine would be an 'own goal' for the US as the war hollows out the army Putin spent decades building, CIA chief says

Soros money backing Texas Dems

Gateway Pundit: George Soros is striking again. The progressive billionaire — who has poured a fortune into electing prosecutors who have destroyed criminal justice systems across the United States — is turning his attention to Texas, according to a Fox News report. And the first Mexican-born woman to serve in the U.S. House has a warning about why Soros is doing it. With President Joe Biden’s disastrous open-border policy failure to win over Hispanic voters — a failure reflected in Biden’s polling numbers — Soros is putting new millions into a state Democrats are trying to flip to their control. “They’re seeing that Hispanics are shifting towards the Republican Party because they’re realizing that we are the party of prosperity, that we want to build a strong economy, that we want to secure the border, that we want to prioritize the people of this country and not prioritize people from outside this country,” former Rep. Mayra Flores told Fox. “And I believe that it’s our policies

Americans are not buying the 'all is well' message

Peter van Buren: So, who really believes Joe Biden and his running dogs in the liberal media when they say things are actually OK? What tiny percentage of Americans are they talking to? Gloom consumes America. Some 73 percent of respondents say the United States is on the wrong track, the highest portion since 1989, when that polling question was first asked. In similar polls, there’s been a prolonged downward trend in Americans’ satisfaction with the direction of the country, from a peak of 71 percent in 1999 to just 22 percent today. Biden’s 39 percent approval is the lowest of any president running for a second term a year out from the election. Inflation hit 8.9 percent. The cost of rent and food rose two or three times as much as incomes. Truth be damned. A whole intellectual industry has developed to support Joe, making excuses as to why the dumb Americans in the heartland don’t see the glories of Bidenomics. The industry has come up with three explanations. Let’s see if they

Voters side with Texas over border wall

Washington Examiner: A sizable majority of the public supports Texas’s construction of a wall along its  border with Mexico  and feels that President Joe Biden’s efforts to stop it are the first step toward civil war. In a sobering analysis of the escalating topic, 69% of likely 2024 voters said that they support the border wall and razor-wire fence that  Gov. Greg Abbott  (R-TX) has ordered. Among those, a majority, 51%, said they “strongly” back Texas in its fight to stop illegal immigration and the  surge of “gotaways”  getting past federal border agents. The White House won the Supreme Court’s support for stopping Texas, but not voters. Besides fighting voters, Biden has clashed with members of his own party over his open-borders policy. He has charged that Congress hasn’t given him the power to close the border, but critics claim he has the authority to slow or end illegal immigration as other past presidents have, including Donald Trump and Barack Obama. The topic threatens more

Voters unhappy with the Biden economy

Daily Caller: MERRIMACK, New Hampshire —  Thousands of Granite Staters, concerned with sky-high prices and the consequences of rampant illegal immigration, are heading to the polls Tuesday to cast the first primary ballots of the 2024 election cycle. Former President Donald Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley are on the Republican primary ticket, while President  Joe Biden  is absent from the Democratic side. New Hampshire voters largely expressed concern over rising costs and affordability of basic needs, as well as the effects of the record number of migrant crossings the nation has seen under the Biden administration. “When you’re living on social security, the economy is — probably nothing more important than the economy, because you can’t afford food,” Bob Riggi, a 74-year-old retired veteran who lives in Merrimack, told the DCNF. “You know, you go to the Market Basket, which is the cheapest place around, and you fill your basket up halfway, then it costs you hundreds of

The world was more peaceful under Trump

Mike Miller: Former President Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize — The Reason Will Set Democrats' Hair on Fire The Abraham Accords are the basis for the nomination.  ... Tenney  told  Fox News Digital in a statement that Trump's achievement proved foreign policy experts and international organizations wrong. Donald Trump was instrumental in facilitating the first new peace agreements in the Middle East in almost 30 years. For decades, bureaucrats, foreign policy 'professionals', and international organizations insisted that additional Middle East peace agreements were impossible without a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. President Trump proved that to be false. As Tenney continued to laud the former president, she also took a well-deserved shot at the Nobel Peace Prize Committee for ignoring Trump's achievement. ... Biden fails to get the border under control

American Action News: Several former officials of the Department of Homeland Security believe that a proposed border security reform, currently being negotiated in the Senate, will not work and is being used by the Biden administration to deflect blame from its policies. The deal, whose text has not yet been released to the public, would reportedly place a limit on the processing of foreign national migrants who enter the country by illegally crossing the international border with Mexico at 5,000 individuals per day, measured as an average over two weeks, according to multiple reports about its contents. Should average migrant intake exceed that threshold, the processing of all migrants would shut down for at least two weeks, with all arriving migrants during that time being immediately removed from the United States, until the next two-week average falls to 3,750. The deal has been attacked by former officials of the Department of Homeland Security who oversaw border policy, as well

Biden accused of reckless funding of terrorism

DC Daily Journal: Joe Biden isn’t just incompetent. He’s actively putting Americans in grave danger. Because the White House’s reckless funding of terrorists has been exposed in a new report. In spite of cutting funds for the United Nations agency just last week due to allegations that personnel were complicit in the Hamas bombings on October 7, the Biden administration has awarded more than a billion dollars to the same group. Following Friday’s revelation that numerous UNRWA employees had been involved in the 1,200 civilian deaths and hundreds of hostage situations that occurred on October 7 as a result of Hamas strikes on Israel, the Biden administration and several other nations cut off financing to the agency. In 2021, following cuts made by the Trump administration, the Biden administration restored financing for UNRWA and started providing hundreds of millions of dollars annually. According to Ambassador Chris Lu, the United States has given over $1 billion to UNRWA since 2021,

iRobot spies?

Wall Street Journal: Elizabeth Warren’s iRobot Gift to China Antitrust regulators kill the iRobot-Amazon tie, and job losses ensue. ... Progressives opposed Amazon’s $1.7 billion bid for iRobot the moment it was announced in August 2022. They claimed without evidence that Amazon would undermine Roomba rivals selling in the company’s online marketplace and use the smart vacuum to spy on American homes. But they mostly worried that the acquisition would make Amazon more powerful. ... I have had one of these robots for several years and if it is used for spying I wonder why anyone would be interested in what rooms are being vacuumed.

Dem crisicim of Trump border policy backfires

Headline USA: ... “The Donald Trump and MAGA plan is alligator moats, bombing northern Mexico, shooting migrants in the legs and electrifying the fence and putting spikes on them,” Garcia said.... ... If you read the post many Americans thought that would be a good idea.  It gives you an idea of just how unpopular the Biden open borders policy is.

Rural America voting against Biden

USA Today: Four years ago, cattle rancher JD Hill bucked his family's Democratic tradition and voted for Donald Trump. Now a registered Republican, he's going to do it again this year. It's not that Hill, a resident of Greenville, Kentucky, loves the New York real estate mogul and all he stands for. He's well aware of Trump's legal problems and "I don't like his rhetoric." But Hill, 57, believes the Democrats and Biden in particular simply haven't paid enough attention to communities like his. "Am I a huge Trump fan? No. But I just haven’t seen the country go in the right direction under Joe Biden," said Hill , whose town is in tiny Muhlenberg County which has a population of about 31,000 . "Personally, I don't think Biden is in touch with rural America." A new poll of likely rural voters suggests Americans living outside cities and suburbs favor Trump above all his competitors, both Republican and Democratic. That suppor

Russian losses in Ukraine

Yahoo News: The Russian military has lost approximately 2,600 main battle tanks and 4,900 other armored combat vehicles in Ukraine since Feb. 24, 2022, British intelligence said in a report published on Jan. 29. Read also: UK Defense Intelligence pegs Russian casualties in Ukraine as high as 290,000 Russia lost about 40% less equipment in 2023 than in 2022, intelligence officials said. The decrease in the rate of losses was due to the increasingly positional nature of the war in 2023, as well as the fact that Russia spent a significant part of the year in a defensive posture. The intelligence service notes that, since the beginning of October 2023, the Russian army has been on the offensive in eastern Ukraine. During this period, the losses of Russian armored vehicles increased, with Russia losing up to 365 tanks and 700 armored vehicles, with only minor territorial gains. The illegal invasion

Fox News: Biden is wrong, Texas has every right to 'defend against invasion,' state AGs tell White House Biden and some Democrats just do not care that there is an illegal invasion by migrants.

Biden's pander to the climate kooks

Telegraph: If you’ve been wondering how much lower the Biden White House would go to appease their climate alarmist funder base leading up to November’s election, the President and his advisors provided an answer last week. The New York Times and others reported on Wednesday that the White House was planning to announce it would pause permitting approvals for Venture Global LNG’s Calcasieu Pass 2 (CP2) project planned in Louisiana. On Thursday evening, the White House issued a statement formalising that plan, expanding it to apply to all proposed new LNG projects still seeing federal permits. The announcement of course attributes the need for this move to the climate emergency , with the White House justifying their decision as part of an “evolving understanding of the market need for LNG, the long-term supply of LNG, and the perilous impacts of methane on our planet”. Reports have circulated in the US media for weeks now that climate activists who provide so much of the Democratic p

The case for a US strike on Iran

Telegraph: After more than 170 attempts since October, the proxies of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have succeeded in killing three US soldiers and injuring 25 in on the Jordan-Syria border. The US must respond now, and it must hold the IRGC directly accountable. Washington should conduct targeted strikes against senior IRGC commanders – a course of action that would send a clear message to the regime in Iran and make it think twice about escalating further. For decades, the mainstream view among so-called policy “experts” in the Washington and Westminster bubble has been that targeted strikes against the IRGC increases the chance of all-out war with Tehran. This popular narrative that such action will lead to “World War 3” has shaped the Biden administration’s reluctance to respond to Tehran’s consistent acts of aggression since October 7, including sponsored attacks on US forces. But is the fear of what the IRGC would do in such a scenario worse than the reality

Correcting Biden's border bungle

Katie Pavlich: ... The facts show he doesn't need Congress or a massive "comprehensive" immigration reform plan, as the White House press secretary continues present to the media, to start solving the problem. He simply needs to get out his pen, just like former President Donald Trump did, to stop the unprecedented flow of illegal immigrants into the country. Here are five things he can do, today, to blunt the current invasion. 1) Reinstate remain in Mexico for those claiming asylum, which would immediately cut down on millions of false asylum claims and years long immigration court backlog. 2) End catch-and-release into American towns, cities and communities. 3) Use the Immigration and Nationality Act to "suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate." 4) Restart construction on the border wall (miles of wall are currently sitting stacked up

Georgia investigating Trump prosecutor

Red State: We've been seeing more and more trouble start to pile up for Fulton County DA  Fani Willis .  First, there was the revelation of an alleged romantic relationship with the man she had appointed to be a special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, in the election case against former President Donald Trump. That was accompanied by evidence of at least two meetings with the Biden White House, which stinks to high heaven. That was followed by the records from Wade's estranged wife Jocelyn Wade that were filed in their divorce case showing that he allegedly bought trips to go on together with Willis. Then came the news that Fulton County Commissioner Bob Ellis was pursuing Willis for documents involving the alleged relationship with Wade because of concerns about alleged misuse of county funds. Finally, Willis was also excoriated at a meeting by Fulton County residents over the scandal. + Smells Like Coordination? Records Indicate Fani Willis' Special Prosecutor Had Meeting/Talke

Biden's indifference to Iranian attacks

National Review: From the outset of an Iran-sponsored campaign of militancy and terrorism across the Middle East that began on October 7, 2023, the Biden administration communicated that it was more afraid of acknowledging the existence of a “ wider, protracted regional conflict ” than letting it harm us. The administration met attacks on U.S. forces and interests in the region with bizarre indifference. When it responded to direct acts of aggression, it did so belatedly and in tailored ways that conveyed only the degree to which the president was self-deterred. Observers feared that Joe Biden’s complacency in the face of Iran’s reckless provocations would end up getting Americans killed . And that is what has happened. On Sunday, Iranian proxy forces launched a one-way drone attack on a U.S. position in Jordan just across the Syrian border. The strike killed three U.S. service personnel and wounded at least 34 more . Media outlets described the attack on the Tower 22 outpost as a “

Biden should look in the mirror for person responsible for inflation

Red State: So many people have been crushed under the bootheel of "Bidenomics" and Bidenflation for so long. It's one of the main reasons Joe Biden's numbers are in the basement in terms of approval, particularly when it comes to the economy. First, the Biden team denied the reality of the crushing inflation, calling it "transitory." Then they claimed it wasn't Joe Biden's fault, despite his excessive spending. They blamed it on Russia and greedy corporations, among others. Now Biden has been saying prices are coming down and claiming credit, even though prices are still up more than when he came in. In his latest remarks in South Carolina, he also blamed the greedy corporations for Bidenflation. That's the shtick he's been rolling out at campaign events now. The problem, of course, the American people know how his words don't match up with how much more is still going out of their pockets each month for things like food and other essent

Somali terrorist allowed to roam in US for a year

American Action News: Federal authorities caught a terrorist at the U.S. southern border and released him into the country, where he roamed freely for nearly a year before being arrested in Minnesota just days ago, according to an internal federal memo exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The unnamed individual, who the memo only identifies as a member of the Somali terror group al-Shabaab, was released shortly after being caught illegally crossing the southern border near San Ysidro, California on March 13, 2023, according to the memo, which the DCNF is not publishing in order to protect the identity of a confidential source. The Terrorist Screening Center “deemed him a ‘mismatch’” after running his name through the terror watchlist, according to the memo, which was sent to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. However, on January 18, 2024, the Terrorist Screening Center “made a redetermination” that the individual was “a confirmed member of al-Sha

US store closings

Warner Todd Huston: Joe Biden’s disastrous economy helped lead to more retail outlets closing then ever in 2023 and the destruction will likely continue this year, analysts say. Skyrocketing inflation caused retailers to cut down on the number of locations at an accelerated rate last year, from fast-food, to grocery stores, to clothing outlets, and more. Some retailers also declared bankruptcy and will altogether disappear from the American economy. For instance, discount retailer Tuesday Morning announced it was going out of business entirely after almost 50 years in business. Christmas Tree Shops also filed for bankruptcy and liquidated all its stores. Wedding supply chain David’s Bridal also closed up, leaving thousands of employees without a job, Just the News reported. Sears, once an American department store powerhouse, also shuttered more than 700 stores and now only has 12 locations left out of the 3,500 it had just back in 2010. Many others are also rushing to close down sto

Iran and Houthis drive up cost for Americans

American Update: Global shipping has been thrown into disarray by attacks from Iran-backed Houthi militants in the Red Sea, adding expenses and travel time to freight companies which will eventually be passed down to American consumers, according to experts who spoke to the Daily Caller News Foundation. The number of weekly transits traveling through the Suez Canal and Red Sea has dropped 42% over the last two months, with the route typically being responsible for around 12% of global trade, according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Extra expenses due to the disruptions have led to higher shipping costs across multiple factors for freight companies, which will ultimately be passed down to consumers, leading to higher prices and greater inflation, experts told the DCNF. “By any number of measures, avoiding the Red Sea has been costly to shippers,” Peter Earle, an economist at the American Institute for Economic Research, told the DCNF. “The initial attacks

Biden wants Israel to go easy on Hamas mass murderers

NBC News: Biden administration discussing slowing some weaponry deliveries to Israel to pressure Netanyahu U.S. officials are considering pausing or slowing some arms shipments to Israel to convince the government to heed U.S. calls to scale back its military assault in Gaza. This makes about as much sense as telling Eisenhower to take it easy on the Nazis.  We should be supporting Israel's destruction of Hamas.  Hamas has the same agenda as the Nazis had when it comes to the Jews. Impeachment over open borders policies
