This interview was a few days ago, but it is still well worth watching.  I think he accurately describes Comey.  Also, his conversation with the President is interesting because he describes a man who is eh=ngaged on the issues and asks intelligent questions.

Washington Times: ... Mr. Strzok sent two texts on May 17, 2017 and May 22, 2017, to his mistress, former FBI agent Lisa Page calling for Mr. Trump’s impeachment. PJ Media: House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) is the latest Republican to attack President Trump’s claim that the FBI wrongly spied on his campaign during the election. Trey Gowdy makes the case that most of the members of teh Mueller team have conflicts of interest that should disqualify them from the job.  It is a powerful argument that Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein tries unsuccessfully to avoid.

There were apparently eight people in the room beside the witness.  He eliminates two counting himself which suggests the leaker was one of six congressmen.  I suspect the list can be further narrowed to who among the six were Democrats.

I would make one more point.  One of the reasons we need to have a special prosecutor to find the leakers is because if the  NY Times is accurate about its source it is clear that someone in the FBI is the leaker, so they have a conflict of interest in find leakers.

Trey Gowdy names a few people who had access to the information that was leaked and gets Comey to confirm that access.

Gowdy was interviewed on Fox News .  It is safe to say that he will not be one of the former prosecutors solicited by the Clinton campaign to criticize the FBI.

Comey still does not have a good answer for why he did not seek a prosecution of Clinton.

This was followed by his questioning of an FBI representative on why certain documents were not presented to Congress pursuant to a subpoena. I get the impression that the lack of cooperation suggests that evidence is being hidden.  I would guess it is being withheld because it is not helpful to Secretary Clinton.

NY Times: Benghazi Panel’s Leader Under Fire as He Prepares to Face Hillary Clinton Trey Gowdy, head of the House committee looking into the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya, is struggling to uphold his panel’s credibility and his own standing. This is typical a typical Clinton reaction to trying to avoid responsibility for their mendacity and screw ups.  Remember how voraciously they had their people attack Ken Starr.  They are doing the same with Gowdy to try to cloud the media picture of what they have done themselves.  Gowdy is "under fire" for seeking the truth and finding evidence that Hillary Clinton misled the country about what happened on her watch and for also uncovering her incompetent administration of the State Department.
