The Obama-Kerry delusion about Syria and Russia

Washington Post:
Ferocious assault on Aleppo suggests U.S. may be wrong on Syria

Planes struck rebel-held Aleppo on the first day of a new government offensive, calling into question the premise of the cease-fire agreement: that Russia shares the Obama administration’s view that the conflict cannot be solved with a military solution.
John Kerry and Barack Obama share a grand delusion that every conflict is negotiable.  What Russia and Syria see is instead a short break before the next offensive to destroy their enemies.  I suspect that Trump shares this delusion when it comes to Russia.
