Gabbard takes on the deep state

I think Gabbard was a great choice by Trump. The former Democrat has joined the GOP in resistance to the bureaucratic deep state. See also: Trump’s Federal Ax Swings Hard, Draining D.C.’s Swamp-Driven Economy

Trump to make a move on the deep state

Blaze: The White House is taking a critical step to ensure that obstructionist deep-staters spread throughout the federal government at senior levels cannot choke essential information flows and altogether hinder agencies' execution of the president's agenda. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management sent a memo Tuesday to the heads and acting heads of all federal departments and agencies, recommending that every agency revoke the "career reserved" status for their chief information officers. By doing so and by also opening the roles to "general" employees, the establishmentarians presently occupying the increasingly politicized roles can be easily canned and replaced by individuals actually willing to carry out the president's agenda. The stated purpose of this move is to satisfy the Trump administration's desire to "improve the government's digital policy to make government more responsive, transparent, efficient, and accessible to the pub...

Deep state accused of ignoring threat to Trump

Glenn Beck @glennbeck Sen. @RandPaul SHREDS the Secret Service & Deep State for their actions surrounding the Trump assassination attempts: “They DENIED countersnipers and extra security protection for 6 months…I can tell you from meeting people throughout government - DOJ, CIA, FBI - people who are supposed to be unbiased are so DERANGED by their hate of Trump that they do bizarre things. Whoever was in charge in Butler and Mar-a-Lago are NOT showing the ability to be in charge and they need to be REPLACED. When you have human error, you shouldn’t give the humans more money….This is not a funding problem. CIA, they barely talked to us…If I requested a conference with them, it’s like pulling teeth. If I beg someone on the intelligence committee, I can sometimes get a meeting with the CIA or the FBI. They’re BEYOND oversight. People need to realize this: Not only is there a Deep State. The Deep State is NOT RESPONSIVE to your elected officials. They just basically thumb ...

Censorship by the deep state

Tyler O'Neil : null The foreign policy establishment that once thrived under the control of both political parties has used Big Tech and the Biden administration to codify a “war on wrongthink” that stifles dissent from the elites’ narrative, a journalist and an online censorship analyst warned. “What we’re up against here are not pink-haired, ambi-gendered LGBT-BLM-maximizing identitarian politics when we’re talking about censorship on the internet,” Michael Benz, a former State Department official under President Donald Trump and founder of the Foundation for Freedom Online, said Tuesday at an Oversight Project event at The Heritage Foundation . It’s not “partisan politics” driving censorship, said Benz, but “the foreign policy establishment.” Conservatives and populists “don’t think about the American empire, they don’t think about the managers of the American empire, which is the foreign policy establishment, our State Department, our Pentagon, our intelligence services.” “W...

Supreme Court looks to rein in Deep State

Washington Examiner: A decades-old  Supreme Court  precedent seen by critics as giving too much power to federal agencies was highly scrutinized on Wednesday by members of the high court’s  Republican -appointed majority. Arguments in two separate hearings on Wednesday surrounded appeals filed by two fishing  companies  of lower court rulings that allowed the National Marine Fisheries Service to force commercial fishermen to help pay for “at-sea” human monitors to be on board their vessels and keep track of the number of herring fish caught. The companies argue that Congress never authorized the agency, which is part of the Commerce Department, to establish the program. The majority of the nine justices, six of whom were appointed by Republican presidents, appeared critical of the 40-year-old precedent known as the 1984  Chevron  doctrine, which states that if a federal rule is challenged in court, the court should defer to the agency and its “re...

Rep. McCaul threatens to subpoena State Dept. records on Afghan bug-out

The Hill: The Republican chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee is warning that the State Department will face a subpoena if it fails to deliver on repeated document requests related to the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. In a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken sent Monday, McCaul set a deadline of Wednesday evening for the State Department to provide at least three documents requested. The demand coincides with Blinken’s expected appearance on Thursday before the committee to discuss President Biden’s budget request for 2024. McCaul said the committee is requesting the three specific documents based on a request by the State Department to identify materials considered the most consequential to the committee’s oversight duties. “From its broader January 12 request, the Committee identified on January 30 three highly specific immediate priority items that are well-known to the Department,” McCaul wrote in the letter. “All of the items specified on March...

The desperation of the Deep State Democrats

Ron Wright: The raid on Mar-A-Lago was a pretextual search using the  National Archive  rules and mischaracterize classified document laws to justify an unlawful search warrant. This raid is only a part of an  ongoing criminal conspiracy  (RICO) or  silent coup  by the Deep State to take down Trump, first before his election in 2016, to prevent his reelection in 2020, and now to torpedo his possible re-election in 2024.  Trump is a direct threat to the coup's survival.  The  Deep State  is protected by the DOJ and FBI that have gone full  Stasi . I have written and served hundreds of search warrants in my career as a police detective.  I investigated complex criminal conspiracies -- crimes of many types, including thefts and frauds, financial crimes, and political conflicts of interest. I am biased in favor of law enforcement.  Nevertheless, the DOJ and the FBI have been  politically weaponized .  We have n...

Pushing back against the Deep State

Paula Bolyard: On Monday night, we learned that Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate  was raided by a team of FBI agents , ostensibly  looking for documents  the National Archivist says the former president took from the White House without authorization. Was the search for documents merely a pretext to snoop around Trump’s Florida home in the hopes that agents would turn up damning evidence related to the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol? Or was the Department of Justice hoping the raid would  whip Trump supporters into a frenzy  and cause a repeat of the J6 protest ahead of the midterm elections? (Don’t take the bait.) Both scenarios seem plausible. What doesn’t seem plausible is the idea that Merrick Garland’s Police State went to Palm Beach  looking for cocktail napkins and dinner menus . Also not plausible is the claim that the  White House didn’t know about the raid ahead of time . No sane person believes that an unprecedented raid on a former presi...

Dealing with the deep state insubordination

Streiff: ... There is no doubt that the Intelligence Community, the Department of Justice, and the FBI declared war on President Trump. There was not only the obscene Russia Hoax but also the joint effort that resulted in President Trump’s first impeachment on the most flimsy and transparently partisan grounds. Likewise, when Hunter Biden’s laptop surfaced during the campaign, the Intelligence Community wasted no time declaring it a Russian fake. ... As we and a federal grand jury (see  Jonathan Turley and Former U.S. Atty Raise Questions About ‘Critical Stage’ of Hunter Biden Case ) now know, the laptop is completely legitimate. According to Swann, the Trump team has identified high-priority targets for cleansing. Sources close to the former president said   that he will  — as a matter of top priority — go after the national security apparatus, “clean house” in the intelligence community and the State Department, target the “woke generals” at the Defense Department...

The plot against the President

Image
Red States: Based on a book by investigative journalist  Lee Smith ,  The Plot Against the President  is a quality piece of storytelling, that moves fluidly and builds tension like any good suspense thriller. But it is not fiction; it was an intentional, and diabolical machination that occurred right underneath our noses. The documentary lays out “Russiagate” and all the actors: legacy media, government officials, and the Obama administration, who weaved this web of deceit. The film explains in extremely cogent fashion the hows and whys of the set up of General Michael Flynn, and how Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA22), former National Security Council official Kash Patel, and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH4) unraveled and exposed the Deep State deception that trapped an innocent man, in an attempted coup de’état to unseat President Donald J. Trump. Jordan said in the documentary, “The only thing we got wrong, is that it was worse than we thought.” The most villainous evil was done to...

Trump pushes back against the deep state coup attempts

Washington Post: How Trump waged war on his own government Career employees have come under siege as a president and his political appointees have attacked bureaucrats they view as resistant. I call Trump's action a counter-attack against those who supported the coup attempt against him by embedded liberal Democrats.  The fewer of them left in government the better the government will be.  The bogus impeachment/coup attempt is a good example of people who took a treasonous turn against the President.

The Hillary Clinton deep state conspiracy against Trump

Charles Lipson: The most profound attacks on Donald Trump are that his presidency is illegitimate and that he wants to destroy our constitutional structure. The Democrats have leveled those accusations for four years, accompanied by charges he is a wannabe dictator, elected thanks to his good buddy, Vladimir Putin. These frenzied charges, we now know, were invented and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and then funneled to the U.S. government through the FBI, Department of Justice, and State Department. Meanwhile, the CIA and then the FBI were busy spying on the Trump campaign (and, later, in the FBI’s case, on the Trump presidency), trying to find “collusion” with Russia. Their relentless effort led to the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose partisan team knew almost immediately there was no proof of these damning allegations. They should have told the public immediately. Instead, they spent the next two years trying -- and failing -- to catch President Tr...

Strozk reported to be cooperating with Durham

CDN: Former FBI agent Peter Strzok is cooperating and working with the John Durham probe of the origins of the Russia Hoax, investigative reporter Adam Housley reports. If true, it would be a bombshell development in the investigation of the criminal conspiracy against Donald Trump. Strzok would be a key witness against higher-ups at the FBI, the intelligence community, and the White House. He is at the center of both the Hillary Clinton exoneration and the origins of the Russia Hoax. He and Andrew Weissmann started Crossfire Hurricane. They used the Brennan Mifsud frame job of George Papadopoulos and the Steele Dossier to obtain fraudulent FISA warrants. Adam Housley, an award winner former Fox News reporter tweeted on July 23rd: “Being told that Peter Strzok is talking with investigators” Soon after Housley then tweeted: “Multiple sources: Strzok is working with investigators. He isn’t the only one.” He isn’t the only one. Let that sink in for a moment. Yesterda...

Obama State Department was in on the Steele dossier and the plot against Trump

Epoch Times: The Department of State worked closely with the FBI on the bureau’s investigation of the Trump campaign and its work with former British spy Christopher Steele , the author of the infamous dossier, according to Steele’s recent testimony in a UK court. Steele told the court he became convinced over the course of the summer and fall of 2016 that the two departments were closely coordinating. By the time he met State Department official Kathy Kavalec in October of that year, it was “very clear that FBI and State Department were both consulting each other and discussing the whole issue of engagement with us and our investigation,” Steele said, according to court transcripts obtained by The Epoch Times. Steele was questioned at the Queen’s Bench court in London on March 18 as part of a lawsuit against his company, Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd., brought by three Russian businessmen affiliated with Alfa Bank. One of the installments of Steele’s report accused the men of funn...

Rosenstein's testimony was devastating to deep state coup plotters

Charles Lipson: Rod Rosenstein’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee was quiet, calm, almost bemused. But the tale he told was devastating — to the FBI, the Department of Justice, and the Mueller investigation. It destroyed three years of media narrative about ‘Trump-Russia’ collusion. It’s obvious now why Senate Democrats want to kill all future hearings on the topic. They lack the votes to do it, but it’s the thought that counts. Testifying under oath, Rosenstein laid out a series of fundamental problems plaguing the entire collusion investigation. Actually, he did even more. When questioned by Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, Rosenstein agreed that when he appointed Robert Mueller as Special Counsel in summer 2017, there was no basis for the appointment and that the FBI already knew it. In retrospect, he says, he appointed a Special Counsel because the FBI hid crucial fact facts from him. They vigorously deny it. This back-and-forth signals a fight, sure to inten...
