The Dem Senator involved in Biden autopen scandal

Trending Politics: The Trump administration’s top artificial intelligence authority claimed on Tuesday that he has discovered the identity of a Democratic U.S. senator who reportedly “controlled” the White House’s use of the autopen at the center of a growing scandal around former President Joe Biden. David Sacks, President Donald Trump’s AI czar, told Fox News’ Jesse Watters that he believes the results of his investigation will show that one of the most progressive voices in the Senate was responsible for attaching Biden’s artificial signature to dozens or hundreds of executive orders that President Donald Trump claims should be invalidated as a result. “Elizabeth Warren controlled the autopen during that administration,” said the Trump advisor, adding that the Massachusetts senator has a “pathological hatred of the crypto community” and wanted to “drive this community offshore.” ... Was Biden actually aware of what was going on with the autopen?  I kind of doubt it. ...

Sen. Warren has a prejudice against Hegseth tattoos

DC Daily Journal: ... Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has launched a sharp critique of a Trump administration nominee over his Christian views, even as her longstanding ties to a controversial Muslim group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), draw renewed scrutiny. Warren sent a scathing letter to Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth ahead of his Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, questioning his suitability for the role. At the heart of her critique was Hegseth’s Christian tattoo, which Warren labeled as linked to “right-wing extremism” based on internal reports from fellow service-members. “You were … removed from President [Joe] Biden’s inauguration because of concerns that you were an insider threat after reports that your ‘Deus Vult’ tattoo ‘was a Christian expression associated with right-wing extremism,’” Warren wrote. “We cannot have a Defense Secretary whose fellow servicemembers feel concerned enough about to report as a pote...

Elizabeth Warren unwittingly makes the case for Hegseth appointment

Blaze: Three sources told CBS News over the weekend that Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) has privately confirmed to President-elect Donald Trump that despite earlier reservations from Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and other Republican senators, his choice to lead the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, will have the votes necessary to be confirmed as secretary of defense. Nevertheless, Democrats — especially Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) — appear keen to fully exploit the opportunity to further denigrate the recipient of the Combat Infantry Badge, two Bronze Stars, and two Army Commendation Medals for valor. Warren sent a 33-page missive late Monday to Hegseth, recycling establishmentarians' go-to smears and revealing the nature of Democrats' likely final line of attack on the decorated Army veteran at his confirmation hearing on Jan. 14. "I am deeply concerned by the many ways in which your behavior and rhetoric indicates that you are unfit to lead the Department of Defen...

iRobot spies?

Wall Street Journal: Elizabeth Warren’s iRobot Gift to China Antitrust regulators kill the iRobot-Amazon tie, and job losses ensue. ... Progressives opposed Amazon’s $1.7 billion bid for iRobot the moment it was announced in August 2022. They claimed without evidence that Amazon would undermine Roomba rivals selling in the company’s online marketplace and use the smart vacuum to spy on American homes. But they mostly worried that the acquisition would make Amazon more powerful. ... I have had one of these robots for several years and if it is used for spying I wonder why anyone would be interested in what rooms are being vacuumed.

Warren on POTUS right to spend tax revenues: 2020 Border Wall: POTUS has no right to build border wall w/o Cong approval ($8-12B) & leads effort to divert already appropriated funds 2022: POTUS has unlimited right to cancel student loans ($400B) w/o Cong. approval I think she has already lost this argument, but may not know it.
