Breitbart: A fully operational criminal organization connected to the Gulf Cartel in Mexico has been taken down by local and state authorities near the border. The group had been operating on the American side of the border using underage teenagers to smuggle humans using stolen vehicles. The culmination of the take down known as Operation Lockdown took place earlier this week when, as Breitbart Texas previously reported, Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Deputies tried to arrest a man who had been identified as a high profile fugitive with cartel ties. The fugitive who has since been identified as 24-year-old Santos “El Cuate or El Chaparro” Cortez Hernandez was armed at the time. NY Times: Clashes Intensify Over Stalled Nomination of Loretta Lynch The bill to combat human trafficking had hit a snag when Democrats learned that a provision would ban a victims’ fund from being used to pay for abortions.  The Democrats are being unreasonable.  It looks like a bad faith attempt to make the Senate dysfunctional which Harry Reid has been doing for years.   Obama could get his AG vote next week if he were willing to tell the Democrats to stop trying to kill the human trafficking bill on the alter of government financed abortions.  They are never going to get that and they should not get that.  Obama's lashing out at the Republicans just shows what a bad leader he is when it comes to dealing with Congress.
