Who knew?-- It is a bad idea to point a fake gun at a cop

Washington Post:
In two years, police killed 86 people brandishing guns that looked real — but weren’t

An analysis by The Washington Post is the first accounting of fatal police shootings involving people armed with ultra-real-looking imitation firearms.
The responsibility for these deaths lies wholly on the those who thought that pointing a fake gun at a cop would help their situation.  I can not think of a less intelligent way to deal with law enforcement personnel.  It is certainly more dangerous than having a polite conversation in response to being confronted by a police officer.
