Germans no longer clueless about person responsible for Christmas terror attack

Washington Post:
Manhunt underway for Tunisian asylum-seeker in Berlin market attack

German police are searching for a Tunisian man after asylum papers were discovered in the cabin of the truck used to ram the Christmas market in the rampage that killed 12, according to two senior law enforcement officials.
First reports indicated the driver was a Chechen.  Then a Pakistani suspect was pickup and later released.  But why would a man perpetrating a mass murder for Allah attack leave his own asylum papers in the truck he turned into a death machine?
