Obama-Trump disputes demonstrates why people voted for a change

NY Times:

Obama, Trump and the Turf War That Has Come to Define the Transition

A Security Council vote on Israeli settlements in the West Bank is just the latest example of diverging opinions between President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump.
It also demonstrates how out of touch Obama is with the country and with Congress.  The vote will also do great damage to the UN which was already in low regard, as its funding is cut and it loses what little prestige it has.  By coming down on the side of Palestinian ethnic and religious bigots the UN made a critical mistake and the transnational liberalism will be lucky to survive it.
