Maine censures representive for challenging it policy of allowing men to compete against women sports

 DC Daily Journal: In a contentious move, Maine’s House of Representatives has stripped Rep. Laurel Libby, R-Maine, of her voting and speaking privileges after she publicly challenged the state’s policy allowing boys to participate in girls’ sports. The censure, enacted in February, stemmed from a Facebook post where Libby shared a photo and the name of a male student athlete identifying as female, spotlighting the student’s victory in a girls’ championship. Libby’s post called out the athlete’s transition from competing in boys’ events to winning a girls’ title. “We’ve learned that just ONE year ago John was competing in boy’s pole vault… that’s when he had his 5th place finish,” Libby wrote. ... Trump criticizes woman governor who wants men in women sports

 Blaze: President Donald Trump confronted a Democratic governor in front of other governors over her refusal to enforce a federal order forbidding men in women's sports. Trump was speaking to a meeting of governors at the White House on Friday when he singled out Maine Gov. Janet Mills for refusing to follow the order and berated her over it. Mills fired back, and the two got into a brief shouting match. "I understand Maine — is Maine here? The governor of Maine?" asked Trump. "Yeah, I'm here," said Mills.
