The families of victims of immigrant killers will not buy this story
NY Times:
It would be more accurate to say that this story is pushing a myth in order to recruit what Democrats hope will be future voters for their shrinking ranks. They are looking for a subclass of new dependency voters.
It is not clear why the NY Times would put such a blatantly false and easily provable false claim on its opening page. Tell it to the victims of MS-13. Tell it to Kate Steinle's family. There are stories like these all over the US where victims would never have lost their lives if the border had been enforced and the killers kept out.The Myth of the Criminal Immigrant

It would be more accurate to say that this story is pushing a myth in order to recruit what Democrats hope will be future voters for their shrinking ranks. They are looking for a subclass of new dependency voters.
