Socialism killed a vital industry in Venezuela and led to people eating out of the back of garbage trucks
NY Times:
Venezuela, Once an Oil Giant, Reaches the End of an Era
Venezuela’s oil reserves, the world’s largest, transformed the country and the global energy market. Now its oil sector is grinding to a halt. Will it ever recover?
It will recover as soon as a new government replaces the corrupt socialist regime that has impoverished the rich country. Hopefully, the US will reject the evils of socialism being pushed by the left in this country.
We know that socialist are not as smart as the free market. There is not a one of them that can tell you how many eggs and slices of bacon are needed every day in New York City, much less an entire country. Central planning and socialist nonsense should be rejected. Capitalism is far superior to what the left has in mind.
