Sexual assaults should be handled by the criminal justice system and not by college administrators

NY Times:

When Campus Rapists Are Repeat Offenders

Some students commit sexual assault more than once, research says. Many question whether colleges are doing enough to prevent these recurring crimes.
The criminal justice system is the place for these cases.  It has the mechanism set up already to give both sides due process.  Too many times colleges have Star Chamber proceedings denying the accused the rights guaranteed under the constitution.  They also fail on the other side too.  They should refer these cases to the local district attorney for adjudication.

If you have a repeat offender a DA can better handle the case and ask for a stiffer sentence.  Relying on Title IX for justice is nuts.
