Texas economy shows resilience despite drop in price of oil

Texas adds 35,800 jobs in July, but oil and gas employment still muddled in crude crash
Houston which has borne the brunt of the oil related layoff added 8,700 jobs and Dallas was slightly behind it.   The Texas economy continues to diversify.
