US air support does not match the scope of the Mosul operation?

Washington Post:
Iraqi, Kurdish forces say they feel let down by level of U.S.-led air support

In the fight to reclaim Mosul from the Islamic State, air support is stretched across multiple front lines.
It is not too surprising.  Obama has been reluctant to put US air support forces into the fight against ISIL on a massive basis that would be needed to overwhelm the enemy for a major ground offensive.  He has also micro-managed the air operations similar to the way LBJ screwed up the Vietnam air campaign.  By doing so he is making the operation take longer and be more bloody for the ground fighters.  For a combined arms operation to be truly effective, it has to take away the enemy's ability to respond to each element.

  1. Obama is a complete incompetent leader and needs to go to jail. I hope Trump charges him and takes him to court for some of his lying about the emails. He knew everything Hillary knows and more!!
