The Marine Corps and its civilian leaders at the Pentagon are squaring off over whether integrating women into all-male combat units will undermine the units’ lethality.

This is an administration that does not care about the chaos it causes by its policies in the Middle East and it does not care about the weakening of the military it causes by trying to force women into combat units where they get hurt more often than men and are less effective.  The subset of women who are even interested in such a job is extremely small which makes the normal attrition even worse.   Listening to Sec. Mabus and watching how the Obama administration works it is clear they do not care.  They want their bad policy and they want it now and they will then try to avoid the responsibility for the inevitable failure.
