Senate Democrats Plan Aggressive Climate Change Bill

Though the measure will not pass the Republican-controlled Congress, Democrats say they hope that forcefully pushing for climate change policies could help them in 2016.

Polls continue to show that climate change is near the bottom of voter priorities and Democrats must deal with the fact that their agenda is especially hard on the poor who are hurt most by their push for inefficient alternative energy.  This appears to be more a play for Steyer's donations for his climate change hobby.
