Democrat's support for Iran deal to draw opposition in reelection race for Senate

NY Times:

Larry Kudlow Weighs Run Against Senator Richard Blumenthal in Connecticut

The economist wants to help define a conservative economic message for the entire Republican Party, but he is also driven by outrage over the Democratic senator’s support for the Iran nuclear deal.
Kudlow would definitely be an upgrade for the Senate over Blumenthal.  He is intelligent and articulate and is especially good on the economy and taxes.  His challenge may be whether there are still enough people left in Connecticut that appreciate that message.  The state has been bleeding people who have been voting with their feet against the high tax liberalism of its current political class.
