The last stand of ISIS's Syrian caliphate

Washington Post:
The final days of the ISIS ‘caliphate’: Hundreds stream out of last Syrian village held by militants

U.S.-backed forces expect to capture the remote village close to the Iraqi border within days and gave the area’s remaining inhabitants a chance to flee or give themselves up.
It may be had to screen all those leaving because of the ISIS dress code which requires women to be totally covered and which could allow some of the fighters to dress in drag in order to escape.  ISIS affiliates in Africa are much larger than the one remaining in Syria and that could be a destination for any escapees.
