If the enemy is smart it would just get out of the way and not take a chance on shooting at someone who will shoot back. That has been their strategy much of the time in Iraq. They avoid contact with out forces whenever possible preferring to concentrate their main attacks on non combatants. What our departure will really do is make those attacks on non combatants much easier. It is the Democrats indifference to the war crimes of the enemy and the genocide the enemy pursues that should be the issue. The real threat to our national security from their policy objective is that the enemy will continue his war against us on other battlefields and with greater resources.
