Questionable intelligence, questionable deal

NY Times:

Iraq Will Share Intelligence on ISIS With Three Countries

The Iraqi military said in a statement that the new agreement with Russia, the Syrian government and Iran was necessary because thousands of volunteers who have joined the Islamic State have come from Russia
For a country whose intelligence service is yet to have predicted an ISIL offensive, the work is of questionable value.  But this deal may make US intelligence services reluctant to disclose sources and methods that would be shared with the Russians.
