First city falls as casualty of Obama's retreat from Afghanistan

NY Times:

Taliban Seize Major Afghan City for First Time Since 2001

Insurgents conquered the provincial capital of Kunduz after besieging it for months. Afghan officials vowed that there would be a counterattack.
Other than the political inconvenience of the defeat, I don't think Obama cares that much.  He is committed to  retreat whatever the cost to Afghanistan or Iraq.  But this is a big deal and it should not be minimized anymore than the fall of Mosul and Ramadi.  If he sticks to form, he will not take responsibility for this failure anymore than his failures in Iraq, Syria and Libya.  He seems indifferent to the consequences of his failures.
