France appears to reject Russia's Syria proposal

Reuters:
France says Syria's Assad has no role in country's future
I think Obama is open to a deal with the despot because he does not want to take more effective means of removing him.

Meanwhile, France is taking direct action against ISIL according to this AP/Washington Post report:

President François Hollande said a training camp in eastern Syria was target.
Which raises the question of why hasn't the US been targeting these training camps.  They are stationary targets that should be easy to hit, and it would discourage the foreign fighters flowing into the ISIL army.

We have come a long way when a leftist government in France is showing more resolve than the Obama administration.
