Contributors suggest strategies and expect their views to receive quick attention, occasionally creating headaches for the campaigns.

Since Trump is his own "Big Donor" he is not under the same outside pressure to operate his campaign.  He has chosen a very unorthodox approach, which has to this point been working for him.
