But, the charge reminded me of a case where famed Texas attorney Percy Foreman successfully defended a women who shot her husband in the front yard in front of numerous witnesses. She then got into her car and drove off, but shortly returned and shot her dead husband two more times, again in front of numerous witnesses.
Foreman's defense was two fold. The first shots were under the duress of temporary insanity and when she returned for the final shots her former spouse was already dead, she was therefore merely mutilating a corpse.
I am not sure how this is possible. The dead by any definition are impotent and Viagra is not an alternative.
