Darpa's mule is still noise, though a relative agile robot
It is way too noisy for a combat operation where troops are moving to attack. Its ability to take oral commands is impressive, as its ability to recover from a spill, but you would still have to pick your terrain carefully to keep it from sliding off the side of a mountain. Its pay load is relatively small at 400 pounds. I recently bout a wagon with that capacity from Northern Tools for about $70. Having it pulled by a small bot like that used for IED detectors might be effective on the same terrain shown.
