Hezballah "volunteers" for missions against US

Reuters:

Iran's Hizbollah, which claims links to the Lebanese group of the same name, said on Tuesday it stood ready to attack Israeli and U.S. interests worldwide.

"We have 2,000 volunteers who have registered since last year," said Iranian Hizbollah's spokesman Mojtaba Bigdeli, speaking by telephone from the central seminary city of Qom.

"They have been trained and they can become fully armed. We are ready to dispatch them to every corner of the world to jeopardise Israel and America's interests. We are only waiting for the Supreme Leader's green light to take action. If America wants to ignite World War Three ... we welcome it," he said.

...

But, Wait, back in May there were either more or less volunteers for the same mission according to this World Net Daily story.

More than 100 "martyrdom-seeking volunteers" affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps gathered to warn the U.S. they would blow up American interests around the world if their country's nuclear installations came under attack.

Mohammad-Ali Samadi, spokesman for a government-orchestrated campaign to recruit suicide bombers, said more than 55,000 volunteers had been registered, reported Iran Focus.

...

So is it 55,000, or 2,000 or 100 volunteering to escape life in the Islamic paradise. Or, is this just typical bluster coming from Iran's bloviating leadership. And why would they want to use volunteer terrorist when they claimed that Iran itself is such a strong country. Could it be that they think they need to use terrorist because Iran is too weak to handle the confrontation directly?

  1. You have to go to the left wing blogs to find hate.

BTW, you may have forgotten but the US was subjected to terrorist attacks. That is why some of us are so keen on destroying the terrorist where ever we find them. Hezballah is certainly a deserving target since it murdered Marines in their barracks as well as our embassy personel in Lebanon.

  2. I didn't know you espoused the killing of innocents? Huh, and I thought you were after the terrorists.
