Taiwan has growing resistance to Chicom after seeing Hong Kong repression

Washington Post:
Alarmed by China’s repression in Hong Kong, young Taiwanese are rejecting the idea of “one country, two systems” and sharpening the case for independence.
Who could blame them?  The repression in Hong Kong gives them no reason to trust the mainland Chicom leadership.  Taiwan has also become a valued trading partner with the US because it does not try to steal the intellectual property of manufacturers.  Several woodworking tools are made there and sold under various brands such as Grizzly.
