Why the media has failed to shake Trump's supporters

With a relentless attack on liberalism, the president returned to his greatest hits: attacks on the “fake news,” environmentalists, liberals and immigrants.
Elsewhere the Times tries to explain how Trump took over the GOP.  That story gets it wrong for the most part, but this one reveals why Republicans have no use for the liberal media or Democrats in general. 

Liberalism is a failed ideology that does not produce prosperity or enough jobs.  Fake news comes from the bogus attacks on conservatives such as the Russian collusion hoax and the Ukraine impeachment excuse.  Environmentalism is seen as an excuse for socialism and it has been discredited by all of the unmet projections of extinction every 10 to 12 years for the last 50 or so years.  Immigrants are seen as a means for Democrats to steal House seats and impose the evils of liberalism on the country.

When it comes to fake news, you see little self-reflection by the liberal media.  They could spend over two years pushing a Russian collusion hoax, yet still, defend it and not castigate Democrats for trying to revive it to excuse their absurd impeachment resolutions.  You rarely see the kind of full-throated apology to the President for an obvious attempt to justify a coup attempt.  And they wonder why they have so little credibility with Republicans?

I am hardly a "young conservative."  But Jimmy Carter was the last Democrat I voted for and this coup attempt by Democrats will ensure that I will never vote for another one.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
