Women who make poor choices stranded in limbo

Washington Post:
How ISIS women and their children are being left stranded

Bint Fatma is one of tens of thousands who flocked to the caliphate, but their home countries are bitterly conflicted about whether to take them back.
It is hard to find much in the way of empathy for such women who deliberately join a terrorist organization and bear children for the dregs of radical Islam.   It is understandable why the countries they left would not want them back.  If those countries really wanted them back they would already be back there.
