Did Democrats falsely claim that losing individual mandate would kill Obamacare?

NY Times:

Trump Falsely Claims to Have ‘Repealed Obamacare’

The repeal of the individual mandate in the tax bill, despite President Trump’s claim, does not amount to a repeal of the entire health care law.
This is another one of those targeted "fact checks" that omits the context of the statement.  Democrats in and out of the media made the same claim when the GOP stripped the individual mandate.  But it is only when Trump takes their word for it that it is found to be a false claim.  It is another example of how so-called fact checkers lose credibility.  They have become just another device of media bias.

South Korea gets tough with Norks

NY Times: The new, conservative South Korean government took a tougher line on North Korea on Wednesday, warning that it would speak out against human rights abuses in the Communist North and that it would not expand economic ties unless the North abandoned its nuclear weapons programs. North Korea angrily reacted on Thursday by expelling 11 South Korean officials based in a joint industrial complex in the North Korean border town of Kaesong.
